As believers we are anointed by God because of the seed of Christ that is born within us. “Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God” (2 Corinthians 1:21).
Set Apart for Service to God. With it comes the authority of the One who anointed us.

Wrong.

Christ is the AnointED, not the anointer.
Wrong. . . Christ is the anointing Holy Spirit of God . Christ is God. The father anointed the Son of man just as he anoints us. You must be thinking of another spirit another Christ .One is our teaching Master not seen .

2 Corinthians 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;

No way around one Spirit of one God .One work of faith the father and Son as a labor of love working as one.

Wrong. . . Christ is the anointing Holy Spirit of God .
Where is that in Scripture?

Nowhere.

I'm glad you understand that. Pity you reject the full statement, "Jesus Christ is God".

The father anointed the Son of man just as he anoints us. You must be thinking of another spirit another Christ .
The Holy Spirit anointed Jesus at His baptism:

Matthew 3:16-17 After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased."

God the Father was in the heavens, from which He spoke. God the Holy Spirit descended as a dove. God the Son came up out of the water.

2 Corinthians 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;

No way around one Spirit of one God .One work of faith the father and Son as a labor of love working as one.
That doesn't support your assertion that "Christ is the anointing Holy Spirit of God"... at all.

The discussion about the baptism of Jesus only............The descent of the Holy Spirit as a Dove was IMO a WITNESS from God as to WHO this Christ is...........now, if someone calls that "anointing" then I guess that's ok with them, but I call it a WITNESS.

Just as water baptism for man is a WITNESS to the Church and the world that a newborn believer has become a believer in and follower of Jesus the Christ. I don't think people call water baptism an anointing do they?

???

In Acts 2 - At Pentecost, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit was the anointing of Believers to have power to witness and testify of Jesus Christ- The Anointed One.

The Holy Spirit is The Anointing.

Jesus Christ was anointed because the Holy Spirit was in Him without measure empowering Him to do the Father’s Will - fulfill all the Law and the Prophets and ransom with blood and body the souls of man.

As Believers, we need the anointing of the Holy Spirit to be a witness of Jesus Christ in the Earth, understand the scriptures of God’s Word - the Holy Bible and be a doer of God’s Word - pleasing in His sight. Amen. :love:(y)
I couldnt agree more. As the temple tore in two when Jesus died, it goes to show us that we all have access to God and that we can all be priests. Typically priests are people that serve God and lead others into the faith, i would not say every believer that is faithful is a priest. But we do all have access, and the anointing is the holy spirit which even in old testament times verified the "pact" a future priest makes with God. All the prophets were anointed with the holy spirit. All of them.
