As I sat outside eating a 'Fun Size' SNICKERS bar, the question came to mind; "How long could a man live on just water and one Fun Size SNICKERS bar per day?"

I sensed God answering, "Not long enough."

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

It's just not God's plan for man to live without feeding on His Word. Tho a man live 100 years on SNICKERS, it is less than a drop in the bucket compared to eternity with Jesus.

Oh what a Saviour, Hallelujiah!

This is similar to the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 6:24-34 where we make a career and keep fed, clothed, and housed by God from seeking first his kingdom.

So in essence of what you're saying the word of God is like a Snickers bar it satisfies you?

That sounds funny, i think as long as we eat something, that has fat protein and carbs and drink water, we could spend a lot of years on it. But as snickers does not have have all nutrition in it, i would not say the rest of your life. Having sugars and salts and iron, etc is important for the body always.
