I don't get the laughing at scripture. Apparently even scripture is suspect if it does not quote Calvin

There is "a deliverance" (salvation) here in this world, not eternal, when a babe in Christ comes unto the knowledge of the truth. Rom 10;1-3.

No offence, but this is one of the biggest twist of scripture I have ever seen on this site.....wow!!!

There are too many scriptures that do not harmonize with your interpreted belief, and you seem to just dismiss them with "geesh man".

The inspired scriptures were not inspired by God to be instrumental in the eternal deliverance of mankind, but were written by God, to his regenerated children, as instructions as to how God wants his children to live their lives, while they sojourn here on earth.

God does give mankind a free will to choose how he wants to live his life here on earth, and a lot of times, we are disobedient children, and are in need of his love, in the form of his chastening rod. In Psalms 73 David says he was envious of the wicked ( unregenerate) because they were not divinely chastened by God.

Still sheep need a shepherd and or under shepherd or they go astray.....!!
