Breath of Life

“Peace” isn’t found in what I do,
But rather in my heart,
For true peace comes in knowing God,
And being set apart.
And as I kneel and pray to Him
I bow my head and wait
To feel that breath of life come in
Sent fresh from Heaven’s gate.
One touch but oh the crushing love that presses all around,
So pure so sweet it covers me
Till none but love is found.
So when I give my time to Him
Eternity I gain
His love so strong, so pure, so real,
This gift of God’s refrain!
