I know another, some people cant see the forest because of all the trees.

There is an old saying. The devil finds work for idle hands that have nothing sensible to post.

Once upon a time a man or was it a woman well it just a story so you decide.
But once upon a time this person Hated Garlic Ice Cream.
This was a very devout spiritual person and each morning when they got up they prayed.
Invariably the prayer came around to garlic ice cream.
they told God each morning how much they hated Garlic Ice Cream and that they couldn't even stand the thought of it and wanted nothing to do with the disgusting stuff.
Then each day they went about their tasks which often times include shopping.
They stopped at the wonderful little farmers market in town where the could get the freshest of produce
They had their own little bistro in town and would frequent the market often.
The had to get up early to get the freshest and to open up in time for the deliveries.
Deliveries of meats and fish milk and cream, ooh the freshest cream.
Now they had nothing against garlic itself, used it in everything but in ice cream, just unthinkable.
But there was always fresh chopped garlic and always that fresh cream and with the sweetness of some sugar.
Well you can guess what always seems to happen, fresh made garlic ice cream cooling in the freezer.
When you really really hate something you think it about it all the time right.
Well by the end of day a fresh quart was a calling and well it there and fresh.
I don't know why I keep making the stuff, I should just throw it out, but it would be wrong to let all that effort go to waste.
Perhaps I just have a little and throw out the rest because I really really hate it, but it is food and you can just waste good food.
I know Ill give it to my neighbor they love this evil stuff and then I can tell them how much I hate it and perhaps they will hate Garlic Ice Cream too.
Later that evening as they scrape the bottom of the container and wipe the cream mustash off there face they start there eveing prayers.
God you know how much I Hate Garlic Ice Cream, I really do I pray that I never see another container of garlic ice cream again.

must be an addict, most addicts are like that. They say they hate something but go right back to it like a dog with a bone.

I have heard of addicts saying 'I must cut back' or 'I will try to give up' so what they do is only take a little bit and drip feed their sin every day or whatever as if spreading it out makes it less, so they do it everyday instead of once a week or so. Or they will 'try' but trying doesnt actually mean doing.

You know what works though. say someone has eaten garlic icecream and they clearly an addict, you just tell them they smell really bad and its offensive. And you explain to them that garlic is for cooking with roast lamb and that cream is to put on pavlova, and you invite them to taste REAL food and then hopefully they wont go back to what perversion garlic icecream was.

If this is how you plan to preach, everyone will fall out of their chairs asleep, before you get to the point.
