I disagree,my belief..the Holy Spirit, keeps us trusting in him....we do nothing in our own strength.....a true born again would never reject the Lord.....”Never” and it’s not up for debate...you can not reject the Holy Spirit, when he dwells in a believers heart!
I, respectfully, disagree with you. When we have been born again, we still retain our fleshly nature, and have a conflict within us of the flesh against the Spirit, as Paul indicates in Romans 7:18-25. When we lose our battle to the flesh, we lose our fellowship with God (not our eternal inheritance) until we repent of our sin and he forgives us.

John 3 has reference to the WORLD OF BELIEVERS. The natural man, before he has been quickened, does not have spiritual faith, and cannot discern the things of the Spirit which he thinks is foolishness. If you do not harmonize all of the scriptures, you do not understand the doctrine that Jesus taught. God quickens the natural man, while he is still spiritually dead, thinking it to be foolish. Eph 2.
Folks....right here is a prime example of God's word being embellished in order to make a fake, fraudulent point!

Do you ignore all of the scriptures that have reference to God's elect?

For instance; Isaiah 65:22, Matt 24:24, Mark 13:27, Luke 18:7, Rom 8:33, Col 3:12, 1 Pet 2, 2 John 1:1, 2 John 1:13, Rom 9:11, Rom 11:5 & 7, 1 Thes 1:4, 2 Pet 1:10, 1 Pet 5:13, Matt 20:16, Mark 13:20, John 15:16, John 15:19, Acts 22:14, Rom 16:13, Eph 1:4, 2 Thes 2:13, James 2:5, 2 Pet 2:9, Rev 17:14. Do you try not to harmonize these scriptures?

If you think that it is God's will that all mankind live in heaven with him, then you must think that he cannot accomplish his will, which is not in harmony with Dan 4:35.
Nope

I just interpret than to make them agree with the rest of scripture

The WORLD OF HIS ELECT, before God quickens them are full of wrath even as those that are not of his elect, and he will convict them of sin, and righteousness, and of judgement. My God and your God, witch is the same God. The difference is that God, evidently, has the truth of Christ's doctrine hidden from you.

John 14; Jesus is talking to Philip about sending him the comforter, when he goes away, to convict the world of his elect, including Philip, of sin, etc.
More embellished fraudulent religious points

Respectfully....the Holy Spirit helps us overcome the flesh....but yes....when we start going our own way we lose that wonderful fellowship with our Father...

It’s learning to hand our will over to the Holy Spirit.....but the flesh is weak at times.

You said...But we chose to trust him,or continue to reject him?..

The Holy Spirit keeps me trusting in him..I do nothing..the Holy Spirit does it all...I rest in the Lord.
You misunderstood me sis

Before salvation when our conscious is enacted on by the knowledge of god and the conviction of the Holy Spirit and all he does to show Us his Love

We have 2 options

Become like the tax collector and go home justified

Remain in a state of denial And continue to reject him Thus remaining in a state of condemnation

Sorry if I confused you

That is definitely NOT a Calvinistic belief. There is no need for FAKE NEWS.
R. C. Sproul well known Calvinist teacher highly regarded within that camp.

“He who stands firm to the end will be saved.” — Matthew 10:22

He said that many false prophets will appear and deceive many people, and that the love of most people would grow cold, and warned them that only “He who stands firm to the end will be saved.” So we can see, from the words of Jesus, that this solemn truth applies to every one of us.

You want to understand present day Reformed Theology read their writers, his whole passage is pretty much a wavering stance between "God does" and "the believer will do or else he/she is not saved"... this is the "P" in the scheme...blurring the lines between discipleship and spiritual salvation.

It evidently does not Bother you
What you, and myself also is doing in our last posts, in our accusations one to the other, is not profitable in gleaning the truth of the scriptures, and puts us in a position of the purpose of this not being a bible discussion forum. Can we not just discuss the scriptures with integrity and respect, without attacking each others character?

If you want the truth about Reformed Theology, and do not wish to misrepresent it, you must always go back to the Westminster Confession of Faith, which clearly, and in great detail, spells out Reformed (Calvinistic) Theology (and has many sound teachings mixed in with a false gospel). So here is what you need to read and digest (regardless of Sproul or anyone else).

Chapter XVII
Of the Perseverance of the Saints
[Note: my comments are in red]
I. They, whom God has accepted in His Beloved, effectually called, and sanctified by His Spirit, can neither totally nor finally fall away from the state of grace, but shall certainly persevere therein to the end, and be eternally saved. [Note: there is no ambiguity here whatsoever]

II. This perseverance of the saints depends not upon their own free will, but upon the immutability of the decree of election, [Note: this is false, since it depends on the power of God ("kept by the power of God"), and the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit working within the saint] flowing from the free and unchangeable love of God the Father; upon the efficacy of the merit and intercession of Jesus Christ, the abiding of the Spirit, and of the seed of God within them, [Note: this is true and biblical] and the nature of the covenant of grace: from all which arises also the certainty and infallibility thereof.

III. Nevertheless, they may, through the temptations of Satan and of the world, the prevalency of corruption remaining in them, and the neglect of the means of their preservation, fall into grievous sins; and, for a time, continue therein: whereby they incur God's displeasure, and grieve His Holy Spirit, come to be deprived of some measure of their graces and comforts, have their hearts hardened, and their consciences wounded; hurt and scandalize others, and bring temporal judgments upon themselves. [Note: all of this is true, and includes "the sin unto death"]

Your changing "world " to "world of the elect" was fraudulent........... so you are actually trying to HIDE the truth.
Not if you want the scriptures to harmonize. John 3:16, is the world of those who believe, excluding those who do not believe. I am not trying to hide the truth, only trying to reveal the truth, knowing that the truth is only revealed by the Holy Spirit within a person.

How can that be true, when the context makes it clear that the "world" here is the whole world of humanity -- the human race? Calvin's commentary on John 3:16 confirms this. The sad thing is that Calvin failed to make this a part of his theology. Just like you, that is called wilful blindness.

CALVIN'S COMMENTARY (see Bible Hub)
16. For God so loved the world. Christ opens up the first cause, and, as it were, the source of our salvation, and he does so, that no doubt may remain; for our minds cannot find calm repose, until we arrive at the unmerited love of God. As the whole matter of our salvation must not be sought any where else than in Christ, so we must see whence Christ came to us, and why he was offered to be our Savior. Both points are distinctly stated to us: namely, that faith in Christ brings life to all, and that Christ brought life, because the Heavenly Father loves the human race, and wishes that they should not perish. And this order ought to be carefully observed; for such is the wicked ambition which belongs to our nature, that when the question relates to the origin of our salvation, we quickly form diabolical imaginations about our own merits. Accordingly, we imagine that God is reconciled to us, because he has reckoned us worthy that he should look upon us. But Scripture everywhere extols his pure and unmingled mercy, which sets aside all merits... And this is still more clear from what follows; for he adds, that God gave his Son to men, that they may not perish.
