God chastises those whom he loves .
Yes, but don’t push it:

Jeremiah 30:14-15 KJV
[14] ....I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased. [15] Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.

Isaiah 1:5 KJV
[5] Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

Jeremiah 18:9-10 KJV
[9] And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it ; [10] If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

And before you dismiss these verses:

2 Timothy 3:15 KJV
[15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

GET WISE UNTO THE SALVATION THAT WAS GIVEN YOU IN CHRIST AND GROW UP IN THE FAITH ALREADY!!

why can't i get a straight answer from y'all to this question?

I AM the Resurrection and the Life: he who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live,
and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.
Do you believe this?

Mary wasn't afraid to say whether she believed Him or not.

Believe Him doesnt mean picking and choosing what you feel suits you.

'
pick up your cross and follow' -- as Simon the Cyrene did. he laid down his burden at Calvary.

you have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God
(Colossians 3:3)

Your Y/N means Yes I believe you Jesus, but No I will not listen to you. All the best explaining that one.

@posthuman --- your own time would be far better spent actually picking up the bible and studying it. Daily. And pray the Holy Spirit teaches you. Your time spent here is actually not bringing you edification if you don't understand the above topics. This forum has too diverse viewpoints. Drop this for a while and go into 30 days of intense study.

Sounds like the liberal democrats in the US, see it my way or else.

You asked the question below, hard to believe a confessing Christian would do such.

Get off the fence in pleasing man, there's a war going on, get in the battle soldier!

Is it biblical to be 100% against Abortion yet believe in freedom of choice?
That is a question genius and like I said, get some honesty or don't address me....so far you are proving yourself dishonest......not good!

Do you believe once saved stay saved ( as i prefer ) in the church age ?
Yes, Romans to Philemon contained plenty of passages reinforcing that.

God deliberately made it that way, in order to make Israel jealous (Romans 11:11).

If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:7
Will genuine Christians abide in Christ continually? Absolutely. Will false professors fail to abide in Christ? Absolutely. To abide means to remain. Those who are saved by grace and born again remain in Christ eternally.

MATTHEW HENRY'S COMMENTARY SPEAKS OF HYPOCRITES AND APOSTATES
(3.) The fatal consequences of forsaking Christ (v. 6): If any man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch. This is a description of the fearful state of hypocrites that are not in Christ, and of apostates that abide not in Christ. [1.] They are cast forth as dry and withered branches, which are plucked off because they cumber the tree. It is just that those should have no benefit by Christ who think they have no need of him; and that those who reject him should be rejected by him. Those that abide not in Christ shall be abandoned by him; they are left to themselves, to fall into scandalous sin, and then are justly cast out of the communion of the faithful.

How does this genuine Christian abide in Christ daily?

Jesus said, "If you keep My Commandments, you shall abide in My Love; even as I have kept My Father's Commandments, and abide in His Love. John 15:10

How do we keep His Commandments?

Awesome question. Now let's hope he goes to the scriptures to see the answer...
how about " believe on the name of the Son and love one another"

i mean, since this is what John said the Commands are in His 1st letter.

Its good to see more and more people standing up for the true gospel  on these pages. At one stage it was very lopsided towards the apostate doctrine of OSAS (n).
How can NO Gospel be the true Gospel?

Only God knows who the Elect are.
Not so. The Holy Spirit witnesses with our spirits that we are the children of God.

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Rom 8:15-17)

God guarantees the glorification of His children. Which thoroughly demolished your faulty understanding of salvation (Rom 8:30)

So if you do not have the inner witness of the Holy Spirit, you have a serious problem.
