As Christians we are probably going to say that we are trusting in Jesus for salvation .But it seems that this may not be the case for all . How can we be trusting in Jesus if we have to do our part ? some are adding ' obedience ' others its ' deeds of faith ' . Some say we have to continue to confess and repent ,whilst others its a life proved by holiness and fruit baring . Have we really trusted in Christ if we are still looking to ourselves ?

Things don't happen of their own accord. In the real world, we make things happen! In the magical fairy world on the other hand, it's another story. Thankfully, we're not in the magical fairy world. We're in the Kingdom of God!

Godspeed.

:) this salvation is from God not man. Not based on what we see hear and feel. And its not based on how this or that believer in Christ teaches. God does not hold us accoutble to what some person on the Internet says. I am in that also. We work out our own salvation.

Now there are those God puts over us that we know are of Him. And we should listen to them. Yet always making sure what ANYONE says is written! JESUS IS REAL! This is how I see it

"God does not hold us accoutble to what some person on the Internet says."

Were you referring to yourself and what you're saying on the Internet with that statement?

"JESUS IS REAL!"

It is precisely because Jesus Christ and God are real that I opt to obey their commandments out of love for them and for my fellow believers who benefit from me obeying the Lord. After all, if they weren't real, I wouldn't have to do anything just like all the atheists and anti-christ-type false-believers out there. But, since God is real, I have to obey his commands for God commands me out of love not negligence. I appreciate God's commands and seek to fulfill them without any reluctance unlike those filled with Satan's rebellious spirit. Thanks be to God. Every time I obey the Lord, I feel great joy in pleasing God and benefiting my fellow believers. After all, God's commands were given for our benefit in this life on earth until we make it to Heaven and get out from under the threats and influence of Satan and his minions.

Godspeed.

Reread the posst, he says he is referring to himself. He is admonishing the family to lean on Yeshua, and if the words of others agree, fine.. I believe you came back with the same kind of wisdom.

Yeah, eternal salvation is 100 percent Jesus' work on our spirit to deliver us eternally and zero percent us doing something to get it.

What does John 3:16 say? And John 5:24? 3:36 etc..

Calling for salvation is a response to being convicted.. so that's still not us getting it. It is God not forcing us to be saved.

Anyway I agree.. eternal salvation gets added to..

Like saying I will only give you this gift if you mow my lawns 😀

Did you really trust in Jesus for salvation?
Yes,I do.
I was referring to How we get saved ?
Admit in the mouth, believe in the heart, that Jesus is our savior.

You trust in Jesus, you will do whatever he Commandments'
and always read bible to update everyday in our life day by day.

Romans 10:10
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Romans 10:11
As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."

How to trust in Jesus,
Try to run towards Jesus,it's like that you run as fast as you can,you will never be shame.

Examine your faith. If it does not produce works, not your own works, works given by God, then it is not faith at all.

Faith without works is no faith at all. Do not tell all who are joyous in having received salvation free that it does not translate to doing God-s works for this would be a lie.

PS...I might say also, how does any servant of God expect eternal reward for receiving a free gift in this age? That is kind of wonky thinking.

Think on that, pray on it............

Ok ,I'm trying to clarify . The question 'DID you really Trust in Jesus for salvation is past tense . And you said 'yes i really DO ' ?
Then you respond to " I was referring to How we get saved" with Romans 10.9 which I agree refers how to BE saved .
Of course either we are saved or we are lost . There is no middle stage . We're not half saved from the penalty of our sins ,because we would still be condemned .

The question 'DID you really Trust in Jesus for salvation is past tense
So,I believed in Jesus' Salvation before, and now I believe more

Then you respond to " I was referring to How we get saved" with Romans 10.9 which I agree refers how to BE saved .
Of course either we are saved or we are lost . There is no middle stage . We're not half saved from the penalty of our sins ,because we would still be condemned .
Yes,you are right, There is no middle stage .

I am feeling that you worry about not being saved?
1-Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

We know that we should to spread the gospel all over the world, what if everyone know the gospel, but some people still do something wrong, then should we forgive them first?if we forgive them, will they be saved? what if we do it to the Unbelievers?

I may be thinking too idealistic,
But that's what I learned about the Bible
I believe in god will have all man to be saved.

Gave ya an X because you have jumbled up bunches of stuff in an attempt to "muddy" the waters of a Christians life walk with Christ to justify what appears to be a "back door" approach of HYPER GRACE ideology............

Hey, IF YOU think all you need is to go to Christ one time and after that live any old way you want without ANY concern for what Scriptures say about how a Christian is to live....................well, that's fine with me, it's your eternity. Spend it anywhere you wish

So far you've not explained anything other than name calling and assertion ? The question is 'Did you really trust in Jesus for salvation? its ok to say if you don't Know or are unsure if you did ,or even if you are saved or not .
