I think that if they rebuild the temple they should only offer grain offerings and drink offerings and not animals any more
Because when Moses came down from the mountain and "Saw the calf" he was angered and broke the tablets
Through the lens of the new covenant this means animal sacrifice angers Jesus (hence his overthrowing the tables of those selling animals for sacrifice)
It's fine to have a temple rebuilt, but it should be purely fruit and grains that are offered there, ie the food of John the Baptist

Moses was angry because they were engaged in worship OF a golden calf they had made. Not because they were sacrificing an animal to YHVH. Right before The Lord, they were engaged in rituals of idol worship they had learned in Egypt. Moses was signing the terms of the covenant relationship with YHVH and they were already breaking it. That was the reason for his anger.

They have an agency called the TEMPLE INSTITUTE.

They have remade all the Temple Vessels and musical instruments, and they Train the Priests, all of that comes from their website. A lot of the information I have posted comes from them, and a lot comes from the Archaeologists, in the dig in the Parking Lot. Some of it comes from the City of David officials. Mostly from the VIDEOS they have produced. The Temple Mount is the WRONG SITE, but maybe GOD wants the TEMPLE the Antichrist to be sitted on the WRONG LOCATION.
Well Daniel does indicate that the Antichrist will make a military invasion to desecrate The Temple Fortress.
It gives me suspicions that they will use Antonia rather than The City of David for the new temple because it will be a fortified temple.

Having said that, it is highly likely that Israel will have to militarily protect their temple wherever they build it.
Whatever plot of land they use the Islamic forces around them will want to claim it from them.

I THINK YOU made up the Military Invasion, AND The Temple Fortress. BOOK, CHAPTER, AND VERSE PLEASE. You appear to taking the word WAR in verse 26, and adlibbed it to mean Military Invasion. He walks into the TEMPLE PEACEFULLY whom He has a Peace Treaty with and then Takes Over, Breaking the Covenant Peace Treaty.

Daniel 9:27 (HCSB)
27 He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing of the temple until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator.”

The LORD wants the Jews to built the Temple, probably to FULFILL PROPHECY.

Malachi 3:1-4 (NJB)
1 ‘Look, I shall send my messenger to clear a way before me. And suddenly the Lord whom you seek will come to his Temple; yes, the angel of the covenant, for whom you long, is on his way, says Yahweh Sabaoth.
2 Who will be able to resist the day of his coming? Who will remain standing when he appears? For he will be like a refiner's fire, like fullers' alkali.
3 He will take his seat as refiner and purifier; he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, so that they can make the offering to Yahweh with uprightness.
4 The offering of Judah and Jerusalem will then be acceptable to Yahweh as in former days, as in the years of old.

I'm not making anything up. I believe in the whole council of scripture. Yes the temple will be re-consecrated or restored by Messiah (Jesus) when he comes. The Hebrew verb used in the vision of the evenings & mornings means vindicated.
Daniel 8: 13-14. In verse 26 The angel confirms the vision as being for the distant future.

But first it will be desecrated by the man of lawlessness.
Daniel is a series of prophecies. Each one gives us more detailed information and a unique perspective of the same story.
It's a consistent theme throughout prophecy from The Torah onward. A gentile invader of Israel.
Israel will be brought to the end of her strength. Then she will recognise her saviour. When he comes to rescue her.

Daniel 11:31. The Temple is fortified and the man of lawlessness comes with armed forces to desecrate it.

Daniel 9:27 - doesn't tell us he will 'peacefully' stop the sacrifice.
Just that he puts an end to it. He breaks a covenant he made and desecrates the temple.

He comes in PEACEFULLY, that is what the 7 Year COVENANT means. He come is PEACEFULLY, but 3.5 Years in that COVENANT, he turns into the BLOODIEST Dictator that ever lived.

Daniel 11:31 (NIV)
31 "His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

What is the most sure fired way to cause the Temple to be Desecrated? It appears you are getting the Cart ahead of the Horse.
Here is a Hint, what even will cause the TEMPLE to be Desecrated, that causes the High Priest to tie a rope around on of his legs?s
That is why, so IF he enters the Holy of Holies, and if he has a heart attack or accidentally touches the Ark of the
Covenant, they
can pull him out before he actually dies, causing the Holy of Holies to be Desecrated. So if one body causes desecration, how much more would a multitude of bodies on top of the wing of the TEMPLE, executed with a guillotine?

Daniel 9:27 (HCSB)
27 He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing of the temple until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator.”

It does not show it on this picture, but this model, there was a stairs coming up to the roof.

During the FEAST OF TRUMPETS, the Trumpeters will blow the Trumpet Call from the Roof of the Temple.
It will sound like this:

That is enough speculation about what happens after the THIRD TEMPLE is built and the first 3.5 years is finished. Antichrist rules peacefully for the first 3.5 years. You are distracting from the THIRD TEMPLE NEWS, so PLEASE start your own THREAD.

I'm getting the cart before the horse? Your the one speculating about guillotines. I'm urging a simple reading of the text.

Popular assumption says he comes in peacefully. Not the text. While some sort of "peace deal" is likely to be part of the covenant. He breaks that covenant. Even if it was purely a "peace deal" How else would you break peace but by violence?

"That is what a 7 year Covenant means" Not definitely. That is what the likes of Hal Lindsay popularised.

Here is what the Bible actually says about the event that Jesus directed us to pay attention to.

Daniel 11:31

New International Version
"His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

New Living Translation
“His army will take over the Temple fortress, pollute the sanctuary, put a stop to the daily sacrifices, and set up the sacrilegious object that causes desecration.

English Standard Version
Forces from him shall appear and profane the temple and fortress, and shall take away the regular burnt offering. And they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.

Berean Study Bible
His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. They will abolish the daily sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation.

New American Standard Bible
"Forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation.

New King James Version
And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.

King James Bible
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Christian Standard Bible
His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. They will abolish the regular sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation.

Contemporary English Version
He will send troops to pollute the temple and the fortress, and he will stop the daily sacrifices. Then he will set up that "Horrible Thing" that causes destruction.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
His forces will rise up and desecrate the temple fortress. They will abolish the daily sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation.

International Standard Version
Armed forces will arise from his midst, and they'll desecrate the fortified Sanctuary, abolish the daily sacrifice, and establish the destructive desecration.

NET Bible
His forces will rise up and profane the fortified sanctuary, stopping the daily sacrifice. In its place they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

GOD'S WORD® Translation
His forces will dishonor the holy place (the fortress), take away the daily burnt offering, and set up the disgusting thing that causes destruction.

JPS Tanakh 1917
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall profane the sanctuary, even the stronghold, and shall take away the continual burnt-offering, and they shall set up the detestable thing that causeth appalment.

American Standard Version
And forces shall stand on his part, and they shall profane the sanctuary, even the fortress, and shall take away the continual burnt-offering , and they shall set up the abomination that maketh desolate.

English Revised Version
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall profane the sanctuary, even the fortress, and shall take away the continual burnt offering; and they shall set up the abomination that maketh desolate.

Because of the previous post, I must end it by posting this. Does everyone see why going on into specific PROPHECIES about what happens in the TEMPLE After the first 3.5 years is past, DISTRACTS from the subject at hand, namely THIRD TEMPLE NEWS?

So this Understanding is one Commentary that I think is RIGHT ON.

QUOTE:
Then he
(the Roman prince) shall confirm a covenant with many (the unbelieving majority of the nation of Israel) for one week (the seven-year Tribulation Period). It may be a friendship treaty, a non-aggression treaty, or a guarantee of military assistance against any nation attacking Israel.

But in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. The Roman prince will turn hostile toward Israel, forbidding further sacrifices and offerings to Jehovah.

And on the wing of abominations. We learn from Matthew 24:15 that he will set up an abominable idolatrous image in the temple and presumably he will command that it be worshiped. Some think that wing here refers to a wing of the temple.

Shall be one who makes desolate. He will persecute and destroy those who refuse to worship the image.

Believer's Bible Commentary: A Thorough, Yet Easy-to-Read Bible Commentary That Turns Complicated Theology Into Practical Understanding. End Quote.

I apologize for the distraction, will get back on tract now.

The KEY word is NEWS. The thread is all about NEWS what is going in the world today to that is news worthy about the JEWS preparing to Build the TEMPLE.

You were going on with PROPHECY about the Antichrist. Yes, it is an important subject, but it totally distracts from the NEWS. That is why I encouraged you to start your own THREAD.

Be that as it may, blood sacrifice has no place now for Christians
If they rebuilt that thing I hope we petition them only for non-animal offerings in it
Offerings done without blood are not the type of Christ so would be OK for Christians to offer
But i think Moses saw the golden calf as representing animal sacrifice because it let them keep sinning so long as they sacrificed animals and as soon as God could get rid of this practice he did so because it causes Moses to be angry
We follow Jesus, well take a look at John the baptist - did he tell people to sacrifice animals, no he said if you have two tunics give to someone who has none and be baptised.

I agree, but that is not the Point. JEWS think the animal sacrifices are Necessary, and until the Two Witnesses EXPLAIN it to them, Few will ever UNDERSTAND that JESUS is the Final Sacrifice. Yes, that Lesson is what the Two Witnesses will be extremely GOOD AT, because we have had 2000 Years, and still FEW LISTEN TO US.

Isaiah 1:11-14 (NCV)
11 The LORD says, “I do not want all these sacrifices. I have had enough of your burnt sacrifices of male sheep and fat from fine animals. I am not pleased by the blood of bulls, lambs, and goats.
12 You come to meet with me, but who asked you to do all this running in and out of my Temple’s rooms?
13 Don’t continue bringing me worthless sacrifices! I hate the incense you burn. I can’t stand your New Moons, Sabbaths, and other feast days; I can’t stand the evil you do in your holy meetings.
14 I hate your New Moon feasts and your other yearly feasts. They have become a heavy weight on me, and I am tired of carrying it.

There is a scripture that we all should memorize, just in case we have an opportunity to witness to a JEW.

But the JEWS will certainly rebuild it.

If they called antichrists follow after a "law of the fathers" have a mind to rebuild it they have already made the Holy place desolate.

By denying the father they deny the Son. They usurp the unseen father as the one teaching master and give it to a legion of men seen .

No Father no Son. No Son no Father.(Call no man on earth father)

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son

Yes, they will be in sin when they rebuild it, no one Denys this

but prophecy states it WILL be rebuilt. Let’s not take a word which goes against our belief system and how we think it should be, and twist those words to make them mean something else

The Bible does not talk about a third temple. It talks about the first temple which was destroyed and rebuilt and then it talks about the second temple where the Jewish priests carried out sacrifices. That is the temple Jesus was pointing to while standing and said this will be destroyed.

So there is no third temple connection to form of the world changing and ending as it’s restored.

Yes, they have GREAT EXPECTATIONS, in vain, that the TEMPLE will bring Peace to the world, because the Temple is GOD's Revealed Presence, and the Western Wall is also GOD's Revealed Presence. How long after it is built, will they REALIZE, that No it is not HIS Revealed Presence. I have heard that Jews in videos, say that the Western Wall is GOD's Revealed Presence, so when do they realize they have been Praying at the WRONG WALL, what a let down. That they have been wrong all along. HIS REVEALED PRESENCE is a Person, and what they really NEED, is to recognize JESUS as their MESSIAH, and HE IS GOD'S REVEALED PRESENCE. That will be probably when the TWO WITNESSES GET HERE.

John 1:1 (HCSB)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 (HCSB)
14 The Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We observed His glory, the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 10:30-33 (HCSB)
30 The Father and I are one.”
31 Again the Jews picked up rocks to stone Him.
32 Jesus replied, I have shown you many good works from the Father. Which of these works are you stoning Me for?”
33 “We aren’t stoning You for a good work,” the Jews answered, “but for blasphemy, because You—being a man—make Yourself God.”

John 10:24-32 (HCSB)
24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and asked, “How long are You going to keep us in suspense? If You are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”
25 I did tell you and you don’t believe,” Jesus answered them. “The works that I do in My Father’s name testify about Me.
26 But you don’t believe because you are not My sheep.
27 My sheep hear My voice, I know them, and they follow Me.
28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish—ever! No one will snatch them out of My hand.
29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
30 The Father and I are one.”
31 Again the Jews picked up rocks to stone Him.
32 Jesus replied,I have shown you many good works from the Father. Which of these works are you stoning Me for?”

JESUS to them exactly who HE WAS, but the vast majority of the Jews, REFUSED TO BELIEVE HIM.
