The question is "how". By spiritual rebirth and being resurrected from the dead?
Because if this is so then we have absolutely nothing to do with it. Period.

Spiritual rebirth is a work of God and God alone. The Bible makes it clear that we have neither the power nor the inclination to do this in and of ourselves.

Of course spiritual rebirth is a work of God,.....how can anyone choose to save themselves.

Same as being a child of God.....we follow Him,no matter what,His Holy Spirit keeps me following Him,.....He gives me the strength to do everything......

Without Him I would be dead....

Eph 2........
It is God Himself was doing all of the work here.
The spiritual rebirth and resurrection from the dead to eternal life is far beyond the power and inclination of falling men.

But God,

{who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us}, [[[even when we were dead in trespasses]]],

made us alive

together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and [God] raised us up together, and [God] made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

I'm the one on here defending Eternal security so aiming those verses as if I believe I save my self is redundant
You fail to apprehend my point. Lazarus could not resurrect himself. Furthermore the resurrection of Lazarus (who is a believer) is a type of the resurrection of all believers. The context of John 11 does relate to salvation and eternal life....clearly.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
Lazarus actually died and is a pic...no wait it actually happened historically. its was a miracle and sign .

"Lazarus was actually dead"? What in the world is that supposed to mean?
Calvernism uses this account as if it correlates to salvation . If so should we all be preaching at the cemetery, if its the same ?

This is what YOU say and how YOU choose to look at it. NOBODY here EVER has made this argument, it's a straw man and you can not point me to ANYONE making the ridiculous case you just beat down in your own imagination, for your own ego, thinking you're teaching someone a "thing or two".

You guys have got to start listening and interacting with what we say, YOU don't get to tell us "what we are", "what we believe", and in extreme cases, how we feel about the false beliefs you make up to attack. It's honestly getting pointless to even post on here at all with this behavior that you're displaying right here for all to see. Like you're God's police to make sure everyone believes just like you, or it's your duty to attack. Same as these Socialist Democrats now. False accusation x3 then beat down that false accusation claiming victory without ever interacting with anything actually said.

WRONG that's not what Jesus EVER taught anywhere. We are supposed to be known for our love for each other, and during my "3 day banning" not too long ago for a personal attack, I looked around the internet to see how others look at CC, and every single one of us should be ashamed, we are known for our fights. For attacking people coming in with a different view, but more for attacking each other, for being the most hate filled "Christian" site out there some describe us as. I went on quite a few site review pages, and the message ratio stayed pretty consistent, about 7-8 comments saying how horrible it is, then 1 saying there are some good folks here, but the bullies run it, then maybe 1 that said good things only, and the last would be describing how hypocritical we are. It was embarrassingly pathetic, I know I'm part of it, and I still say this is a shameful representation of our King. I don't want to start going back and forth, in fact will not do so, but I will not keep feeding into these people who will not stop causing unrest in close minded, self righteous delusion. But will call it out without being ugly, naming names, or responding back and forth fruitlessly. Please think about what I'm saying in truth and lets start being a GOOD example of Jesus for a world that needs Him more than ever.

Even though I voice grievances here to you, I still truly hope you have a fantastic day brother, praise Jesus or King.
I'm clearly attacking the unbiblical systems not people.

The narrative is to demonstrate that Jesus is the power of the resurrection.

Verse 25 makes it clear... once again you are adding meaning to the text beyond the clear analogy that Jesus makes.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;

That is the point .... a physical resurrection of life ... it is a demonstration of that... not about conversion.

Non-Calvinists have never claimed that the New Birth or the Resurrection are NOT supernatural. So that is another straw man.

But unless YOU believe and obey the Gospel, God the Holy Spirit cannot regenerate you, and Christ cannot give you the resurrection of life. No one is born again before they are actually born again. But that is the absurdity of Calvinism.

1) People do not choose their first birth nor by implication choose their second birth.
Jesus mentions nothing about choice in that passage.

The analogy is to support they are one time events.

One physical birth, one spiritual birth.

I had heard of Jesus, but certainly didn’t obey the gospel, before I was saved,.....
No bible reading before my saving.
Can you quote scripture, where God say.....But unless you hear ,believe and obey the Gospel...God the Holy Spirit cannot regenerate you?

Religion can’t save you.

For once we agree. We are not choosing ourselves, we are not electing ourselves, we are not foreordaining ourselves, we are not predestining ourselves, we are not resurrecting ourselves, and we have absolutely no power nor authority whatsoever in our spiritual rebirth.

To say that we, in and of ourselves, have chosen Christ without any influence from above, due to our own will, judgment, discernment and power alone is absurd.

Dead men stay dead until such time as Christ quickens them. This by God's own good pleasure and express Will.

Can you give a post where you have supported this with scripture, or else where is this is scripture?
...that is quickening before belief?

Also can you please explain why God only chooses to quicken some when He could quicken all?

Is more than absurd....it’s ludicrous and much more.
