Can not see a doctor because she is sick!

So a friend just had successful cancer surgery at Mayo Clinic Sept. 3.
Returned home Monday the 7th.
Started running a low grade fever yesterday and continued today.
Called her family doctor who refused to see her because she had a fever and had been out of state last week.
Called hospital and was also denied medical service.

Guess this is the new normal for the medical field.
Only see healthy people but never sick people.

My low opinion of doctors and hospitals just went to zero.

My mom's doctor wanted her to take a COVID-19 test before seeing him for an unrelated issue.

What happens if she gets worst.?
May Gof intervene and break this fever in jesus name.🙏🏻💪

bit surprised by that yet even my mums doctor clinic did a check when she went for something completely different..I guess they I such cases wanna be sure those coming there are safe to do so.

That is sad.. but i hope u also get to hear abt those who go out of their way to help, esp in these very trying times when they probably need or want a break too-- but cannot. Lets continue to pray for our frontliners, as well as those needing their services.

My doctor triages patient in the parking lot. If a patient presents with a fever a covid19 test in the office parking lot. He then sees them via video chat until the covid19 test results are received. Covid19 positive patients are sent to the emergency room where they are evaluated and treated appropriately.

He does this because fifty percent of his patients are over 60.

I called my Doctor and told her what was happening.
She came to my friends house after hours and found she had an inflammation in her lungs and gave her a RX.
She is doing much better.
Thankfully there are a few good people in the medical profession.

I'm glad to hear that your friend is much better now. Lung inflammation is no joke.
