I can’t drive, can’t afford a house,so i enjoy simpler pleasures. Thanks for the advice I’ll keep the posters up 👍
Simply have them up to your neck like the quail of the murmurers . . .never having enough. Its simply what those obsessed with sexual immorality do. Put up posters.

I don't think this forum supports false pride.

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Let me make something perfect clear here, there is nothing at all wrong with nudity. Read the bible and you will see that. What is wrong is mans interperation of what he is seeing. For some of us its merely a naked person, to others its lust and pornography. Having naked photos on your wall isnt right either. I could write an essay on this topic, but this is not the website or forum to do so.
26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.

Don't build or go up steps to the alter, some one may see up under your robe

These verses may help Michael.

Ezekiel 23:14-16 (14 “But she carried her prostitution still further. She saw men portrayed on a wall, figures of Chaldeans portrayed in red, 15 with belts around their waists and flowing turbans on their heads; all of them looked like Babylonian chariot officers, natives of Chaldea. 16 As soon as she saw them, she lusted after them and sent messengers to them in Chaldea.)

Romans 13:13-14 (13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. 14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.)

Galatians 5:13-18 (13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. 16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.)

Colossians 2:11 (11 In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ,)

Hebrews 10:26-27 (26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.) All verses from the New International Version (NIV) bible.

In my previous post #103 I missed one verse.

1 Corinthians 12:22-26 ( 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24 while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.)

This is saying that certain (private) parts are unpresentable, so are to be covered to be modest. These women are not Christian. I don't think it is wise to look toward Unchristian women (no pun intended) as women to be desired. If you want to start working toward a more Christian attitude toward women I would suggest that you replace any nudes with those with at least bikinis and then take those down and replace with women with full coverage one piece suits and then, beautiful ladies that are fully clothed. Their clothed beauty should become apparent, not only in their physical beauty, but also their choice of clothes, which should give you a clue as to their personality.

I know that professional models wear what their photographers want them to wear on the job, but out in public many pictures are done with their own clothing decisions, some good, some not so good and even some bad.

nakedness as in sin, that is hidden , but it isn't, as the lord can see it. It was a metaphor used so man could understand, not an indictment against being naked.

He does however enjoy a good boxing 🥊 match where two semi naked men try to beat the 💩 out of each other-and he can’t see the hypocrisy.
It's this that makes you seem like you are baiting. It leaves me less inclined to think you are sincere, surely you can see the difference in a boxing match and posters purposely designed to border on softcore/erotica.

Unless we are talking about a particular type of boxing, this is in no way similar.

I suppose it's possible you didn't mean the nakedness of the men and were referring to delighting in violence but even mentioning their dress in the same context as your OP it is difficult to see any differently.

Those types of posters always felt like a no-go to me. Perhaps you are different but I can't see any particular reason to have one myself except that promotes good stewardship and proper outflow of one's personal energy in righteousness.

In your case since you seem to find that unattractive or at least some element of it...funneling energy gazing upon someone you can't make love with knowing they aren't real and it's just a cheap poster mass produced or even if especially made still you can't hug it, you can't talk to it, you can only use your imagination on ONE frame. Even if, as you say, that is just to appreciate the beauty...it isn't organic. It's one still image and that would only make me lonelier and I doubt a future spouse would appreciate that.

"many" interactive frames per second with a lifelong partner? Seems a shame to waste any of them on someone you can't interact with. Some of it may be art, but putting it a bedroom would cross a personal boundary for me.

I can't think of any productive purpose. If you are sincere, my intention isn't to come across as judgemental.

There are ways to "make believe" with still images but even if it were something innocuous like a full wall landscape, I still end up getting bored. "pretending" is cool enough to know that you can, but gets dull and I find myself pushing the envelope at times in ways that just feel wasteful...much like looking in a mirror too long.

I wonder if David knew what bath time was or did it happen only once before he summoned Uriah ..

What I would like to know is what particular problem he is experiencing as no Christian who is secure in the Lord needs to look at semi-clad women every day unless there is a problem behind it. He is obviously frustrated about something although he denies it, but the writing is on the wall beside the pictures.

Nudist Christian communities and a bunch of RCC art work .. Not to mention Ham making fun of his naked drunk father .. I've taken showers in the locker room after games and practice but no females were around .. I don't go for Obama's idea letting perverted men in girls bathrooms either
pleased to see you read it all, checked it against scripture, and drew a conclusion, well done!

Are you still a recluse as you stated in your Intro last year?

Well that just shows the topic starter has not spiritually matured yet.
I fully understand, as being a female lover myself.
The way they can dress, walk, act and dance is really seducing and above anything I ever seen in my childhood. The “f” word on TV was simply not done, let alone stand posing in mini skirt.
How times have changed....

But having daughters and a girlfriend myself trying to meet the world standards, it starts to get sicker the deeper we dive. What some women do to themselves to please us men is beyond my understanding. We live in a fake induced reality where most pictures we see are photoshopped.

There were days where men decided curvy was more sexy then thin and women eated themselves real fat. There were even days when men used make up because a tanned skin was not meeting rich standards.

Are we deciding for ourselves what the flesh wants or are we meeting standards in which we are conditioned to? Looking at this from before the fall, I wonder if women posed pictures to please other men’s sexual standards :)

Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Are you married to any of these women you put on your wall, and you sure cannot be married to them all.

1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.

1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Charity, love in action, is greater than faith, and faith works by love, and if a person does not have love then they have no saving faith, for faith has the proper perspective of God and His kingdom that it is love which means to help people with their needs.

That is why love is the root of all evil for it neglects the poor and needy which is what it is all about for love is the fulfilling of the law.

Love does not think an evil thought, and if anybody has posters of women on their wall they are lusting after them.

The bible tells us that God created Adam and Eve naked and saw all He created and pronounced them good ( i.e including their nakedness. In their purity Adam and Eve saw things exactly the way God made them , good, but when they jettisoned the word of God and sinned, they tried covering themselves with fig leaves because they now saw evil in what was hitherto good. What has changed? not their nakedness but their heart of sin that changed their perception.

I believe as a Christian there is nothing wrong in admiring the beauty of God"s creations including as you put it above the female form if the motive is right. To the pure all things are pure as Paul tells us. However, Paul also admonishes us to be wary of Satan's devises lest he takes advantage of us (because these devises are very subtle and are difficult to decipher with the physical senses. We need the Holy Spirit to guide our footsteps,)

Furthermore, the bible tells us, all things are lawful for us but not all things edify. Search your heart, you alone knows the real reason why you hanged those pictures. The integrity of our heart is paramount for God searches the heart and will always lead us aright if we hold on to him with all our heart.

Remain blessed

I think putting yourself to unnecessary temptation is not wise.

Jesus said that he that looks on a woman in order to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. Job made a covenant with his eyes not to look up on the virgin with lust.

Can you look at semi-nude pictures of beautiful women without desiring them? Are you tempting other men who see the posters to do so?

Christian: One who is born from above by Spirit and water. One who is a new creation. One who god has removed the heart of stone and replaced a heart of flesh, causing you to walk in his commands and keep his judgements. One who hates the world and worldly things at the same time longs to please the Lord above all things.

Reading some of your posts I'd say it's likely that you're not Christian.
