Is that coming from "the book of Bbrdrd"? Because it's not coming from the Bible that's for sure.
You are leaking your merit/works based righteousness ideas again. You have been promoting this idea that we can meet God halfway.

I don't know if anyone else perceives it but I see it all the time peppered throughout your posting.
Like you do with the Biblical text, you're reading things into my posts that are not present through adding to what I am saying.

Here is more for you to deny @cv5 and @jackrosie
... basic understanding of the context of the situation.

This has nothing to do with being chosen by God and irresistible POOF regeneration before belief.

It’s a dialogue between Jesus and the unbelieving Jews.
They rejected Jesus because they rejected the Father.
Jesus identifies Himself with the Father, having rejected the Father, they are NOT now going to accept His Son.
It’s the drawing of the Jewish faithful, and that’s who the Father willed to reveal His Son....while other Jews were being hardened in their unbelief.
Complete nonsense.
Jesus is clear......... crystal-clear........in stating that they CANNOT believe because they have not been chosen by the Father, and therefore are not one of His sheep.

Along these same lines are these declarations by Jesus:

John 8:47
Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."

John 10:26
But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.

Amen!...who ever belongs to God hears the words of God.

They actually believe they brought themselves to believe...sorry but...🤣🤣🤣

Once again taking verses out of context to twist them to suit your doctrine. The whole dialogue in John 8 betrays that 8:47 is an indictment not a statement of God choosing, the Jews were claiming they were Abraham's children and thereby God's children and Jesus was making it clear that if that were the case they would have recognized Him.

How about rather than doing drive-by theology where you take verses out of context and create meaning for them you actually take the time to sit and read the narratives in context and figure out what is being said? Your whole theology is built on pretext.

You can laugh, red x and deny the truth 24/7/365.....make no mistake, you will not be laughing when you stand before God......

Pushing a gospel-less, God willed forced salvation

Skewing truth, what we say and denying truth to peddle a man made "ISM"

Bad day coming!!!

The word means what it means without us adding to it. Or do you think the Holy Spirit chose the wrong word like you do so often when it is "all," "every," and "world?"

Simply being attached to people doesn't add the element of selection to it simply speaks of God's omniscience.

If we follow your logic of God knowing for all eternity to its conclusion you make God the author of sin by the very same token.
I'm not asking for a long-winded discourse on the philosophical vicissitudes of logic.
I'm asking you to prove your point out of the Bible!

So if you go ahead and do a word study on those terms and and discover if and how they are used in the sense that God is simply looking forward in time at objects and situations and people all in the same way. You go ahead make my day post the scriptures if you can find them!

Your vacuous and insipid non-biblical debate and rhetoric? I'm really not interested in that. I want hard-boiled scriptural references.

Calvinism absolutely cannot honor context nor the definitions of the words given....to do so would destroy their peddled ISM!

Unfortunately it is you who deny the truth....your context is skewed as is your interpretation.....

You even deny that God can speak in an audible voice.....you are a narrow minded believer ,can’t see out of their “own” belief system.

Considering you change definitions on a whim and handwaive about "studying" to add to their semantic possibility there's no real point in taking the time to explain to you the multitude of ways the Bible teaches choice. Especially since every Scripture I have brought up you've ignored, and every time I've put one of your proof texts in its proper context you've given no answer. The manner you handle Scripture is dishonest and you continue to demonstrate that dishonesty.

So far I have not seen you expound, exegete, clearly explain any part of scripture in context.

They cannot see... we put it in context of audience relevance and they deny it.

It really is a useless endeavor... it will take an act of God for them to see.

Correct. John Calvin's commentaries show the same tendency. While providing the exposition in the commentary, he had no choice but to present what was in Scripture. But that did not stop him from teaching the exact opposite because he had committed himself to a false gospel. Here is is commentary on John 1:29 from Bible Hub:

CALVIN'S COMMENTARY EFFECTIVELY CANCELS TULIP
"Behold the Lamb of God.
The principal office of Christ is briefly but clearly stated; that he takes away the sins of the world by the sacrifice of his death, and reconciles men to God. ... John, holding out Christ, testifies that he is the Lamb of God; by which he means that all the sacrifices, which the Jews were accustomed to offer under the Law, had no power whatever to atone for sins, but that they were only figures, the truth of which was manifested in Christ himself...

Who taketh away the sin of the world.
He uses the word sin in the singular number, for any kind of iniquity; as if he had said, that every kind of unrighteousness which alienates men from God is taken away by Christ. And when he says, the sin Of The World, he extends this favor indiscriminately to the whole human race; that the Jews might not think that he had been sent to them alone. But hence we infer that the whole world is involved in the same condemnation; and that as all men without exception are guilty of unrighteousness before God, they need to be reconciled to him. John the Baptist, therefore, by speaking generally of the sin of the world, intended to impress upon us the conviction of our own misery, and to exhort us to seek the remedy. Now our duty is, to embrace the benefit which is offered to all, that each of us may be convinced that there is nothing to hinder him from obtaining reconciliation in Christ, provided that he comes to him by the guidance of faith."

John Calvin? Have I ever quoted John Calvin's commentaries even once?

Never. I have never quoted any commentary so far, only quoted straight from the Bible.
So far the election crowd is batting 1000 as far as I can see.

I gave you scripture and understood it from audience relevance a key hermeneutics principle and you denied it because it does not fit your faulty paradigm.

The ability to deny context and word meanings is really truly worrisome.

Believe as you will... just sad your are inculcating others to your false dogma.

You mean besides my references to Joshua and Acts you ignored? You think Jesus was mistaken when He said "seek first the kingdom of God?" Choice is written all over the Bible, and only the willfully blind fail to see it.
