God, by his foreknowledge, Psalms 53:2-3, saw that none would seek him, no, not one. Out of those that would not seek him, is the group that he choose a portion off before the foundation of the world and predestined them to be adopted as his children by Jesus Christ. The children did not choose God, but he choose them. Jesus paid the adoption price on the cross for those that God choose, and will complete the adoption process, when he comes back at the last day to gather his elect, and takes them home. We use this same adoption process in our society today.
Amen!!

Can you explain....No one can come to the Son unless the Father draws them?

Did the Father draw you?....

Father does the drawing..correct?..how does your heart pertain to God?
My sister told me about Jesus when I was a child and my heart burst open with joy upon learning of Him. I have believed ever since.

Perhaps you should refer back to the context of this in scripture.

I believe Jesus was talking to the Pharisees.

Wrong answer...but thanks.
I know that context is swept aside by you and you demonstrated it once again.
Anyone thinks they can understand scripture apart form context will understand very little.

It’s swept aside...because it’s not the truth....you don’t understand what drawing by the Father means.....
Holy Spirit leads me through scripture.......but have led myself, many times...which is always wrong..

Well know fact Calvinism uses proof texts out of context and creates an entirely different plan of salvation

Of course so few of us understand. Unless they are Calvinists...... of course.. a well known false dogma stated by a Catholic Bishop.

No one can come to Jesus only through the Father, who chooses and draws his children,he brings us to a place of believing,we cannot bring ourselves,I played no part of being saved,

My saving was completely unexpected,no choice, drawn by my Father In Heaven, adopted into his family of children.an Honour and Privilege.
And no man can come unto the Father accept through the Son....John 14 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

And he also says...If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto me. God sent his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

With the scriptures, I would say all are drawn...

Jesus said, in John 12:32 (shortly before He would go to the Cross), "And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all to Myself."

And... He said, in John 14:6, "Jesus says to him, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, if not by [/by means of] Me."

Why do you insist that I have been taught by Mr Calvin.....?

The Holy Spirit indwells me,not Mr Calvin......he is not God.

Do you understand "chronology"? What happens when, in relation to what other thing/things, in Scripture?
Some call it progressive revelation... (for example, in 1Pet1:13, "Wherefore having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, hope perfectly upon the grace that is being brought to you in revelation of Jesus Christ"... not "in THE revelation of Jesus Christ" as elsewhere used [with the definite article ('the')], which contrastly speaks of the "future" [an "eschatological" revelation of Him, future], but not here in this 1Pet1:13 verse).

Jesus, in John 12:32, is referencing how it would be FOLLOWING His Cross-work. We should believe Him where He says this, no?

I know nothing of chronology, why would I need too?

Progressive revelation....do you mean after we are saved?

When we receive the Holy Spirit..indwells us,we start a relationship, correct?

The renewing of our minds?...we are alive in Christ, what is the purpose of the Holy Spirit in a believers life,as soon as we are saved....what happens to us?
Does a battle start, flesh against spirit....what changes do you see in a born again?
Do you see dramatic change in their life?
Do they stand out?
Why do they stand out?
What does “all” mean?....draw “all” to myself?

Of course he did. He draws all through the Word the Gospel, through the Holy Spirit, even nature testifies of him so that no one will have an excuse.

I think it is more preservation....because once we are saved we are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. God is the one who does this; he preserves us. We could not do this on our own. It takes the Holy Spirit.
