To crucify or put to death means to deprive of power, vitality, and force. So we are called to stop yielding ourselves to unrighteousness, for sin shall have no dominion over us, (it's power is broken) and start yielding ourselves to righteousness. We will still sin, because we are still growing into that reality of being set free. It's like a slave that has been liberated, but still thinks and lives like a slave, because that is what he is accustomed to. So we are also called to renew our minds. So we are free, but learning to walk in freedom is a process that will not be complete until we bear the image of the Heavenly, Christ.
What does process mean.. how is it accomplished?

It means that we learn to walk in freedom more and more. How is it accomplished? By the renewing of your mind, walking with God, letting His Word dwell in you, fellowship with other believers, etc

Thank you Magenta. I have it located on my right side and wraps around the back. I didn't know what it was at first but with enough Google searches and a look into a nurse aide book I had gotten from a class I took once, I had suspected it to possibly be shingles. My family doctor confirmed my suspicion, told me I hit it right on the head. I found some picture online also that were similar to the rash. Some people I heard could have shingles without a rash. For me I had slight pain on a Friday and noticed a rash at least by Saturday.
Praying for you, sister.

It’s Unfortunate. I see several people got banned on the Calvinism thread. I saw at least three. What happens if you get banned? Can you be reinstated?
Fyi.....We are not really supposed to discuss those matters.

I sent you a welcoming PM. :);)

WHAT?!!!:cry: Uh-oh! He must have upset the wrong person......

Come on, CC.....bring dc back to us!(y)

He's rough around the edges but, we still love him and enjoy his insight.....he is our brother in Christ!(y)
It ain't happening. Over the past year I have warned DCon numerous times (including a couple of short term bans) about toning down his antagonistic rhetoric. Invariably he has been at the center of every thread that has become toxic. He has been given much grace because I liked him but there came a point where I could no longer look the other way.

A man who upholds Biblical Truth with unapologetic passion is banned while smooth talking heretics roam CC halls shutting out the Kingdom of Heaven against others. Romans 5:18 undeniably and unequivocally refutes calvinism. Why are people permitted to spread such heresy here on Christian Chat?

Heresy such as this.......

But let us understand that the TYPE of love of God extends to the unsaved is ONLY pity and mercy. On wretched vessels that have no worth whatsoever.
It is incomprehensible that such a statement can go unchecked, when Jesus told us to love our enemies... "those worthless vessels."

Yet the OP, of this thread @dcontroversal who raised up biblical truth on this chat Forum and defended it tirelessly was recently goaded, trolled and falsely accused and why........ because he refused to bend a knee to a dogma that maligns the very nature of our Lord and Saviour revealed in scripture.

Acts 14:3
Therefore they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord,

It’s sad the calvin debate has now gotten numerous bans Over the past year. I think it is now up there with end times debate (the heated topic when I first came in) that got a lot of people banned. It did seem like it turned into a calvinist chat room all the pro and anti calvin threads i would see pop up. Figured sadly it would come to a head soon like it always does, :(

Very sad to see him go, but I understand the position you were in, and the need to not show favoritism.

Thank you for the Grace you have shown me over the years.

I agree with this. I have tried to steer as mostly clear of that issue as I could. Early on I gave my thoughts, and was genuinely confused why they received such animus.

The reason is I don’t believe there is any fruit, only division. All sides trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

You can uphold what you perceived to be Biblical Truth from your perspective, without being antagonistic towards others who may perceive it differently from you.

Well.....I will miss him.:love: I enjoyed his passion for what he believed....yes, at times he could be obnoxiously rude but, still........his faith in Jesus Christ's FINISHED work for Salvation was absolutely unshakable.

I do not think our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was disappointed in dc.....rather, well pleased that dc fought for his faith when tried. I believe dc is pure gold.(y)

Perhaps God used this thread to test all of our faith in Jesus Christ.....how sad that pride raises it's head to try to take some form of credit for salvation based on works........there is no way God is pleased with that and dc knew it.

Thank you, @Oncefallen for giving dc grace......Lord knows we all need it! lol! :giggle::love:(y)

May the Lord bless ONLY His Truth that is contained within this thread and may God's Truth bear fruit in the heart and mind of the hearer, in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.(y)
