Yes I love playing with clays too, it is fun, that's why I like doing miniatures using clay, I mostly use it for food making/ sculpting/ modeling.
Yeah it’s fun, I never tried to use clay to make miniatures though, most of the stuff I’ve made is cups and figures based on different cultures, we always used the kind you put in a kettle, and then paint it, then that paint had to re-kettled if I remember correctly, lol 😅

I’ll post some of my clay stuff I made in school when I have the time to do so.

Part one of stuff I’ve made while in school, all of this stuff is from middle school (I DID NOT MAKE the giraffe looking figure, it’s just there for comparison to my dog figure I made):

Part two of stuff I’ve made while in school, I honestly prefer drawing, but getting the chance to do different kinds of art stuff was really fun ^_^, I have more stuff I’ve made, it’s in the attic though, lol, it’s in the air conditioned part so it’s fine:

I also have done Watercolor painting, regular painting, charcoal, and oils for artwork in school/college. I also know that the best colored pencils, are the prisma brand, but be warned they can get expensive very quickly.

(This drawing here ⬆️, it is a copy draw, and I was thinking about it, I think I might have copy drawn someone else’s artwork, but this was back in High School, before I knew any better and now I just make sure to copy draw from official art sources, like screenshots from an anime/TV show, manga, official artwork from a media property, etc.)

I can also do “normal art”, lol:

Wow this is so cool, I admire people with a talent to draw, I have a schoolmate in elementary she used to draw very pretty well and we used it as a paper doll... she's good. You do very well, quite a talent and a skill you have there, love the charcoal drawings and I like you're clay art too 😊 did you use an air dry clay?

So those drawings aren't charcoal, maybe I used a bit, but that's mostly pencil, I know for the Hallway drawing that is indeed 100% pencil, I got the textured look of the floor in both drawings, by using the pencil dust build-up on my hand from working, and by using my eraser, which is one of those "pull apart and can be washed types". That sounds cool ^_^, I've made a paper-mache penguin in school, but I don't think I've ever made a paper doll. They actually have a really cool use in Japan, and from looking it up they actually have a quite huge history of doll art, I was just wanting to talk about the paper dolls I'm know from watching anime/being a nerd: The Teru Teru Bozu, they are apparently supposed to bring good weather when made and hanged at a window, I don't believe in mystic stuff, but I think cultures can be cool, I learned a lot about culture by doing a few of these art projects actually, lol . Here's a charcoal drawing:

IMG_5024_Small.jpg

It's more "dusty looking" if you get what I mean, LOL XD. That actually sounds familiar, the air drying clay, but at this point I honestly can't remember but vague details. I would be up for doing clay again, but from what I know, doesn't it get expensive quickly? Especially when trying to get your own kettle for ceramic clays?

that's awesome, I won't be able to differentiate a charcoal from pencil hahaha but I like it. Some Clays can be expensive though especially branded ones, I use a cheap Kind of toaster oven to heat it up.

Yeah I guess that’s true, sorry lol 😅

Yeah that’s what I remember my teachers saying in all of my art classes, that actually sounds like a nice and cheap way to dry the clay, hey anyway to save money is okay with me...I often fall victim to deals and coupons, LOL XD

When I said my bible study books are covered in doodles, I wasn’t kidding, lol:

BEE99C77-F042-4C4E-A7CB-9D93FF7091EF.jpeg

Most of my doodles are experimenting with lines or creating random stuff, this was just a bunch of scribbles, but then I added stuff to it and it’s now a creature, that’s what I mean when I’m experimenting and trying stuff out:

A421A544-E9B9-416C-96DE-B2F88F886131.jpeg

I don’t know if any gamers remember the Miiverse on WiiU and 3DS, but I posted a lot and drew on there, I was smart enough to take photos of the drawings I wanted to share on Instagram, I have more saved, but this is just to give an idea, that I basically copy drew and free drawed (Yes I used to be into drawing demon characters, but I don’t do that anymore, this was before I came to know God and thought characters that were demons/angels were cool, but I drew more demons cause it’s coloring a solid wing shape, easier than drawing a feather wing and anime, since it doesn’t have Christianity as a major religion, some shows would follow demons as the main characters and they could be cool characters. Basically Christianity in Japan is meant to “spice up a show/be a setup for the show”, rather than teaching about Christianity because a lot of the conflict in the Bible and it’s main major names, can make for great stories, for Japan and other countries that don’t have Christianity as their main religion or a major religion. That’s why a lot of anime will have elements of Christianity, but that’s basically it. I’m a lot more careful of what I watch now and it’s why I’m honestly stuck on what stories to write, cause a lot of stories had demons/monsters in them, lol I fail):

What I’m looking at right now trying to do, is to probably redesign my Umbreon human:

64BA4108-0D6F-4A93-8BF7-D85F3C00A029.jpeg

Into a new design that I think would reflect me better and how I’ve “grown up” since creating Umbreon Human, oh yeah my mind also likes to do creative ideas, like Pokémon Humans...no I’m not a furry, lol. Trying to figure out if I should color this:

BD64CDE2-BD21-4AC6-A9E0-BAB31CAD5391.jpeg

She’s a redraw of a drawing from one of my old books, the legs don’t look right to me so I’ll probably be working on that for awhile, lol.

Hi thanks for expressing your application of my art work..much appreciated..👍👍👍😊😊😊😊
It is a God-given talent, not everyone can do it, I appreciate talent as God is the source of it, I believe it is an inspiration and motivation all the more to a christian community which encourages us to inspire others especially the young ones to be creative in forms of crafts, arts and sports not vices and other kind of stimulants.
You are an artist and I love your work! 👏🏼

Love arts and craft and I love making miniature art. Here is a roast beef with gravy sauce in a miniature 1:12 scale and a charcuterie board with bread, wine and cheese.

looking at these makes me hungry. They look good enough to eat!
I've seen you share your miniatures elsewhere on site, but don't remember if it's been asked:
Do you market or sell any of your work? I'm sure there's a way you could profit from it.
Oh wow! I just noticed the tiniest of your tiny details: the wine stain under the glass on the napkin. :D(y)

Do these count as art? made these last year, also I am an amateur photographer with my mobile phone :)
OHHH. I like the wolf one. Inspires me for ways to use those scrapes of fabric that so often pile up b/c don't want to throw them out or let them go to waste.

WOW! Okay, I read what you wrote, so I knew I would be looking at a piece of white bread, but didn't know what I was expecting to see. So when I first saw it I was like  " huh? White bread?" then realized what you meant by up close, under a microscope. I tried to imagine it finished, then imagined it being nearly eaten up and this corner being all that remains.
The details you placed in this are just incredible.
Another work of art that is making me hungry.
How long did this take you?
Any plans to finish?
