Isaiah 30:25-28 On the Day of slaughter 1, when all the military fortresses fall 2, water will flow from every mountain and hilltop. The moon will burn as brightly4 as the sun and the sun will give out seven times its normal strength 3, like seven days power in one. On that Day the Lord will turn again to the welfare of His people 7 . He will recompense them for the punishments inflicted upon them.

See: the Lord Himself comes from afar 5, His anger blazing and His doom heavy. His mouth is charged with wrath and His tongue is like a devouring fire 3. His breath is like a torrent in spate: to judge the nations with His mighty affliction.
He sieves out the proud nations for destruction 6 and there will be a halter in the mouths of their people, leading them to ruin.

1/ The Day prophesied over 100 times in the Bible. The Day when people scramble for cover; they will call out ‘The great Day of the wrath of Almighty God and the Lamb has come and who can stand? Revelation 6:12-17, Isaiah 2:12-21

2/ Military personnel, ordnances and weapons will be destroyed on that Day. Hosea 2:18, Amos 5:9, Micah 5:10, Jeremiah 50:27

3/ Seven times ambient temperature: say 16c X 7 = 112c, that is 12c above the boiling point for water. Isaiah 64:2 The only literal explanation of what will cause all the vividly described prophesied effects, is a coronal mass ejection of an unprecedented magnitude.

Psalms 21:9, Psalms 97:2-5, Isaiah 33:12, Hebrews 10:27

4/ The moon will burn brightly red as this CME mass of superheated hydrogen plasma hits it causing a thermite reaction with the aluminium oxide moon dust. Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20

5/ This sudden and unexpected Day is instigated by the Lord, but He is not seen at this time; coming in fire – Isaiah 66:15-16, Psalm 18:7-15.

A Day quite different from the Return, when every eye will see Him; to come later.

6/ This is the judgement of all the nations, especially those who scorn and denigrate His people. Zephaniah 3:8, Habakkuk 3:12, Ezekiel 30:2-5, Isaiah 63:1-6

7/ We are told to pray and trust in the Lord’s protection on that terrible Day, Isaiah 30:15 but we are also warned about what will come and should make preparations for shelter and supplies, then to be aware of what He has planned for His people, now every faithful Christian from every tribe, race, nation and language. Isaiah 26:20-21, Isaiah 49:8-13, Psalms 55:1-8, Jeremiah 29:11-14

What will happen will be the fulfillment of 1 Thessalonians 5:3 When they say: All is peaceful, all secure, [as it is now with the Abraham Accords] THEN sudden destruction will strike them down. [Them; all the peoples who try to destroy Israel. Psalms 83, Micah 4:11-12]

We Christians should know about this soon to happen event. We must be prepared to take shelter, Isaiah 26:20-21, to keep under cover for the Day; 24 hours of extreme heat, storms, earthquakes and tsunamis.

Really? What scripture says that?
I see Luke 21:35...that Day will come upon everyone the whole world over. Isaiah 24:1, Jeremiah 25:29-33, Ezekiel 7:2-9, 1 Peter 4:12 and many other prophesies are quite clear; everyone will experience the Lord's terrible Day of fiery wrath.
We are told to stand firm in our faith and trust in the Lord for His protection.

Isaiah writes mainly to reveal the judgements on Israel and Judah.
On Israel for their greed, dishonesty and lack of compassion
On Judah for their immorality and idolatry
The Babylon captivity is one example of fulfilled prophesy of God's judgement.

All prophesies to the Jews under the old covenant have been fulfilled

Prophecies in the new covenant are partly fulfilled. One left...the parousia.

Yes it is very close much closer than people suspect but remember what the scriptures say “Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.” ~ John 14:27 A pastor said we need to stock up on food and water but I will not because my provider is the Lord and I will not fear or worry. What is coming even if we see it is not for us to suffer the Lord always protects his own

Peter prophesied: 2 Peter 3:7 & 10 By God’s Word the present heavens and earth are reserved for burning, kept until the Day of judgement when the godless will be destroyed. Suddenly and unexpectedly the Lord will make the heavens disappear with a great sound and flames will envelope the earth, all in it will be brought to judgement.

The Revelation of Jesus: Revelation 14:18 From the altar came the angel with authority over fire, he said: reap the earth for the harvest is ripe. Revelation 6:17..... For the great Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath has come and who can stand?
Malachi 3:2-3, Isaiah 66:15-17, Hebrews 10:27, +

Are we in the Body of Christ also to pray, as what Jesus instructed that it will not be the Sabbath when we start fleeing to the mountains? (Matthew 24:20)

What does the Sabbath had to do with us, care to explain?

Do you believe we can lose salvation?

Revelation 3:10
10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.
But you said we wouldn't be here, [presumably on earth] for the Lord's Day of wrath.
How does; I will keep you for the hour of trial, come to mean a rapture removal?
Besides, that was written to the Church at Philadelphia and applies to those who stand firm in their faith.
It also is for a time BEFORE Jesus comes and after He Returns, those people will be made pillars of glory in the Temple. Rev 3:11-12

To manufacture a 'rapture to heaven of the Church' out of scriptures like that, is a very tenuous and flimsy support for a doctrine.

We are instructed to rest every seventh day. Exodus 20:8-11
For us Christians that day is Sunday. The Jewish Sabbath has nothing to do with us.
Do you believe we can lose salvation?
Yes.
I know of someone who says he met Jesus, became Christian, but then went back to sin again. We have all heard of pastors who have fallen from their positions thru various sins.
The Once Saved- Always Saved doctrine is false teaching and conflicts with scripture; Ezekiel 18:24-26 and Romans 11:22
Our names CAN be erased from the Book of Life; Exodus 32:33, Psalms 69:28

So if you believe Jesus is talking about us, that means we should also pray that the day we flee in the mountains be not at the Sabbath Day.

But if you agree that the Jewish Sabbath had nothing to do with us, why do you then still think Jesus was talking about the Body of Christ in Matthew 24:20?

its impossible to know if someone who leaves an apparent profession of Christianity ,if they were ever saved in the first place . So its easy to be deceived into thinking you can lose salvation by people who look like they have stopped being a Christian or are sinning . Thankfully Paul did not conclude that those at corinth had lost their salvation, as bad as they were behaving .

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this thread is indirectly about Lordship salvation ultimately.

That's only 1 church out of 7 being addressed there.
Hahahahaha....your kidding me right?-) That’s like claiming the fall only affected Adam&Eve or the flood was only a localized event? Your not serious in your statement that the rapture (Which has not happened yet), is only for the folks who belonged to the church at Sardis. It is like saying the only lukewarm church attendees are, will and have been those written to at the time of the church in Laodicea. That makes absolutely no sense.

(On Israel for their greed, dishonesty and lack of compassion
On Judah for their immorality and idolatry) #8

I need to correct that post of mine: It was Israel who was immoral and Idolatrous, and Judah who was greedy and dishonest.
I don't like to leave false information uncorrected.
