Is God 3 persons(Trinity) or 1 person(Oneness)
1 God in 3 persons(Trinity) or 1 God in 1 person(Oneness)

What is your position in regards to the biblical doctrine of the Godhead?
Providing biblical verses will help and lets keep it civil no name calling from either side.
And if anyone thinks differently to these two positions please provide evidence for your case on who you think the Father, the son and the Holy spirit are in nature to the deity of Christ.

I will first help by providing the following verses in regards to the topic.
Romans 1:20 - For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen , being understood by the things that are made , even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse;
Colossians 2:9 - For in Him dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
Acts 17:29-31 - forasmuch then we are offspring's of God we ought not to think the Godhead is likened unto Gold or silver or stone graven by art and mans devising. And the times of ignorance God winked at but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent. For he has appointed a day in where he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he hath ordained whereof he hath given assurance unto all men in that he hath raised him from the dead.
See also 1 John 5:7 - There are three that bear record in heaven the Father , the Word and the Holy Ghost and these three are one.
& John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word Was God.

Hello and welcome to CC, Ichabod...
Your question is really better asked in the Bible Discussion Forum. The Singles forum is more a relaxed hangout where we really try to avoid topics that divide people. Think of it as a chill coffee shop with great coffee, even better homemade baking, always cool music and plenty of space for newcomers. It's just not the place for a serious and potentially unpleasant discussion/argument. :)

Luke 3
21 When all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened,
22 and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven saying, “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.”

24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life."

John 17
3 This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
4 I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do.

5 Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

26 The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
John 15
26 When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me.

Well, there's still the coffee... I kind of ate all the baking.

Howdy Ichabod777. I'm a Pentecostal with a UPCI local license... But I'm also allergic to debates. Welcome to the forum though.

As stated this isn't really a singles topic.
Telling people no name calling won't stop it from happening.
If this were posted in the BDF, where it belongs, you can Guarantee lots of name calling and more.
Everyone in the BDF believes themselves to be the wisest and most biblically knowledgeable, and as such have come here to teach everyone else. No one goes there to learn.
This subject is a regular subject there and I can Guarantee you not a single point you will make hasn't been made, and vehemently debated, umpteen times.

No feeding the kitty with people food. It is best if he stays on his regularly scheduled kitty kibbles, and definitely no chocolate. I am not cleaning that mess! @Lynx no pouting.

You must have a house cat, laughingheart. You can lay down the law with them. It, um... doesn't work so well with a lynx. :sneaky:

1 John 2: 23, 24 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

Not sure how this fits in with the "Singles Forum". It's off topic with that regard. I think this forum is for Christian singles only to discuss Christian single activities and Christian dating.

Also, it's quite the divisive question. All divisive questions come from the Devil and have no benefit. Avoid them and look for unifying questions instead.

In any case, all Christians worship God, the Father in Heaven, as they are monotheists, but also believe in the Trinity because Jesus Christ asked us to baptize disciples in the name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; and that's all that matters.

Godspeed.
