That was a funny read................. ive read it twice now.
I had a pair of black leather pants, once... yeah. LOL. Bought them second hand relatively inexpensive, though I never did wear them much. They did come in handy for when I was a passenger on a motorcycle, but, truth be told, I do not care for being on a motorcycle at all:giggle:

A leather-clad motorcycle Mamma I ain't:LOL:

PS~ I do still have my black leather motorcycle jacket, though :)
It previously belonged to a now deceased loved one
So it is more a sentimental keepsake than something I will ever wear...

What's the size or brand name? That's usually a dead giveaway to if it's for men or women.

Lol American Eagle sells men's pants too. The size will really be the determining factor. If you only see one number on it then most likely it's a women's pants.

There I was, no lie. Every pair of work pants I own, are, simply put ...... tatered. Can't even put change in the
pockets. Soooo says I, "i'm gonna buzz on down to the thrift store, n buy some".

I'm thinkin as I walk in, "mask, mask, mask"
Ugh, there they are, two of em, wearin masks.

Now this mask wearin does some weird things to me. I'm sure there is a medical term or two to
describe said weird things. I dunno.

So I donned my mask (cut inner lining from an old over coat, black n silky, bandanna if u will) .
Then preceded to shop.

Fair enough to say, Ima bit flustered. Looked around, made sure I was in the men's section, found
tried on, fit, record time.

Until the next day at work.....................
Uh...... not alota room to work with here, n the front pockets r kinda .....................small.

I'm not sure, but my new work pants might be designed, for ladies.

And of course I threw the receipt away, immediately.

They don't even fit well with my long johns.

So the question is twofold, maybe three, have you ever had a purchase mishap? Did you just roll with it?

And I heard that nylons are super warm, is that true? ( that's a question for the ladies, I hope)
Ya might could trade those pants into a skirt and some brand new nylons?😁

Apparently the buttons on mens pants are on the opposite side to womens, so that will give you an answer as to whether they are mens or ladies pants. As to which side that is you will have to google that. Anyway not much difference as to the look between ladies and mens clothes these days so don't worry about it.

this thread is about pants.

I think.
if you ever go to China cos thats where all the worlds jeans are made, spare a thought for the people who sew them for you. I often think about them, ripping them up deliberately so rich people can look ''cool' in poor peoples clothes.

personally Im not a fan of jeans, though originally there were no womens jeans at all. Women had to wear mens. I guess now its the other way round so now you know how it feels to wear something really uncomfortable that doesnt fit.

women in the 1980s would use coathangers to squeeze into their jeans apparently.

Theres this novel that was so popular it got made into a movie

called 'sisterhood of the travelling pants'. It was about of all things, a bunch of girls who shared a pair of jeans that miraculously fit them everytime they tried them on.
