Please keep this site from being derailed into a prophecy thread. I had little to do with PROPHECY, as it a NEWs from ISRAEL thread focusing on Focus on finds in the City of David, that prove the TEMPLE belongs there some feet further to the south. Any archaeological find proving that Location is correct would be appropriate. Also any rules that the JEWs must do first, also would be appropriate.

I found a video by Nick VanderLaan a student Archaeologists who made some interesting discoveries. He found a repurposed block that had been part of the wall on the so-called temple mount area. This block has a wreath and two flowers on it.



With a faint outline of some figure on highlighted in pink. It has been chiseled of, because Muslims when they captured enemy strongholds, frequently chiseled of an face of a human or animal. The intense search pulled up Roman Insignia called Standards. The Tenth Legion had a Standard insignia of an EAGLE, perched on the Crosspiece like this:



Here is the Roman Tenth Legion that sows the type of Perch it would have been. That shows the Roman Tenth Legion insignia embroidered in cloth.


The lines on that prove the Size and only a wing fits there. So we can assume this is a TENTH LEGION INSIGNIA.

Why is that important ? ? ? Jews want to believe it was on a ROMAN COHORT, and a Cohort only had at the Most 400 men. I was a FULL LEGION with 10,000 Troops and Support Personel.
So where was the BASE THAT HELD 10,000 military personel.

As VCO and friends showed us in this forum, together with the evidence provided in the 2016 documentary below, shows the location of Solomon's Temple to be in the City of David, and not at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the so called "Temple Mount".

... not even a wailing wall will be left, following the destruction of the temple in 70AC, that stood before at the time when Yeshua ha'Mashiach / Jesus the Messiah's.

Prophecy is literal, most of revelation is a dealer and more precise opening up of the prophecies of Daniel 2 and 9, it speaks of the final form of the final gentile empire and what will happen to the world at that time. Many people call revelation the NT daniel for that reason.

the two witnesses are dead, lying in the streets, they are risen from the dead and ascend into heaven, it appears many are saved by this event. It is not symbolic, nothing symbolic about it

We are told what the two witness are IN THE SCRIPTURE. But you, of course, know better.
Little of Revelation is literal.......John used a lot of symbolism and metaphor to hide his message from the ROMANS. Romans would not understand the message of John to His beloved churches in Asia, but the churche would and then understand the rumors and reports they would receive of the Jewish war that was to come. SO, a LEGION could have as many as 6000 TROOPS. Plus 4000 Support Personnel.

THAT DECORATION with the LEGION'S INSIGNIA, would have been on the Outside of the PRATORUIM AND IN THE BASE COMMANDER'S OFFICE, AND at the Main GATE.

More that likely a BUNK would have had 2 people assigned to it, Day Shift and Night Shift.

Therefore a Barracks with 50 Bunks, and would have had 100 people sleeping in those bunks per day.

That would REQUIRE, 60 BARRACKS, IF all of the Support Personnel were housed outside the Fortress Antonia.

With Roman Bath Houses, with CHOW HALLS, with Medical Facilities, with a Hospital, with a Building for Supplies, with Out Houses, with an ARMORY, with ETC.

THINK ABOUT IT.

These were WWII barracks that I stayed in Basic Training.

I have Explained this before, but quite awhile ago.

It is the Dual Stairs where Paul spoke to the Angry Mob, right after he was arrested, and that platform is now collapsed.
But in it's hay day, it was frequently used to make Speeches. It used to have tunnels under that south wall to the Roman Stables.
That was to the left of the stairs was not there during the time of JESUS. Jesus would have been lead up then RIGHT STAIR CASE when HE was to Report to PILOT. Not sure who built that add-on Wall.

That is why those Stairs are so Important. IT PROVES THE TENTH LEGION OCCUPIED THE HIGHER GROUND. They RAN DOWN the Dual Colonnades, designed to get TROOPS as quickly as possible when a RIOT was going on in the TEMPLE. Josephus said they were approximately 600 feet long. AND THERE WERE STAIRS LEADING UP TO THE TENTH LEGION FORTRESS. The COHORT mentioned Makes perfect sense to people who were in the Military. ONE COHORT WAS ONE DUTY to respond to an EMERGENCY at any TIME. THE OTHER 9 COHORTS were ASSIGNED other duties. Some were on Guard duty in the towers, many were on Patron, some were on KP duties, many were asleep, some were on Stable duties, some were on sharpening weapons, some were Training, etc, etc. BUT ONE COHORT was ready for action in an emergency, and that IS THE COMMANDER YOU REPORT TO IN AN EMERGENCY.
That is a Colonnade.
