I know of a person who was in two places at the same time, preaching the Word and speaking of the infilling of the Holy Spirit while walking up the walking side of Long's Peak in Colorado Rockies.

About forty people heard and saw this person. I was there. Going up to hear more on the only trail going up, the man was nowhere to be found all the way up to the summit where there is a sheer drop................. This occurred in 1971.

I realize 1971 is not today, but it may as well be. Our Maker never changes.

I read the OP and yes my response was addressed to that.
There is a whole cult of people who are invested in dealing with angels in one way or another......the parking meter angel is one of the most popular. There is another whole cult of people who believe every claim of a "miracle" because they walk by sight always looking for a sign to bolster their faith. When there is money to be made, selling angels or miracles is a winner with the gullible.

AS to your rude comment, ......I'm rubber, you are glue, everything you say bounces off of me and sticks to you. :ROFL:

When an alert is received by me, I respond to that alert. The OP will always evolve. We are not all brought to a thread by its op, many are drawn forth by an alert, ergo we respond to that. Simple, and more importantly, reasonable.

Yes, there are misguided people who make a big deal out of such things, but that still has nothing to do with the OP.

I disagree, false signs and wonders have been around since the apostles.
Where there is ego to promote or money to be made there will be signs and wonders.
I am a cessationist, so signs and wonders to me just means some charleton is out to make a buck off the gullible.

I assume this OP is about manifestations today. Not much has changed through the ages, except there was no need for the parking meter angel until recent history.

He is not finished "harvesting", sounds like.

Quotes from an interview a few years back after getting one of his jets:

So what are people to do? Read the Bible? The problem is many of them can't read. Go and have fellowship with those of like minded faith? For your information that is what they did. The story told of their faith in Jesus to heal them and their children. So what is wrong with that tell me? Especially when Jesus DID heal them.

If you would deny them their only means of healing you are totally heartless. And just for the record some of your comments are bordering on blaspheming the Holy Spirit. That is dangerous ground.

So come on everyone. Let's crowd out there deniers of the truth and fill this thread with stories of healing no matter how insignificant so that we can all praise God for his goodness to us. I will start with mine.

I was in a head-on car collision in 1976. I should have died because I was traveling at 60mph with no seat belt on. I grabbed the wheel and said audibly, "Here I come Jesus" as I thought I was going to die. At that very moment, I felt a pair of hands take hold of my shoulders, and instead of shooting through the windscreen like the passenger did in the other car, I was held in place by an angel. All I had was a scratch on my nose and a bang on my knee. I had to get out of the back door because the front was totally mangled.

Sadly I forgot to get out my bible when it happened.

I had a revelation from God last night. When Jesus had risen from the dead, Thomas said he would not believe unless certain things happen i.e. see the nail prints in his hand.

We should not be surprised that we have doubting Thomases today if Jesus was confronted with them. I was going to post some details of the problems they encountered for our doubting Thomases, (lack of) Grace & Truth, (no) Truth 7t7, and (not) Through Faith.

However, they can wallow in their criticisms whilst I thank and praise God that he has entered the lives of these destitute people and brought healing and wholeness and who are not bound by theological niceties and prim and proper expressions of the truth.

I will add that God provided a big house for them to use as a refuge for the babies that needed medical and personal help. He provided the monthly rent and then he provided the purchase price of the house and not only that the finances to buy four more houses. The number of children that were dying and are now well and adults is amazing.

And a big thank you to all those of you that are not doubting Thomases and love to see God at work amongst the poorest and needy.

I have just read a couple of more chapters of the book and it gets even more amazing. One baby boy came to them with severe scoliosis which meant he could not sit up as his back was so bent and his spine so curved. Most of the day he sat bent forward or lay on his side curled up.

One afternoon childlike faith came into operation. One of the girls who was four along with others about the same age decided they would pray for this little boy. They took their turn to pray for healing over the boy in their childish words. When they had finished they put the boy down for his nap. When he woke up he was put outside in the sunshine. it was then they noticed something different about him. He was standing up. His back was no longer bent and his spine was no longer curved. He was healed through the faith of the four-year-old children.

The skepticism is nothing new. It's not like this was not described or addressed in the Bible:

"Master, we saw another casting the devils out in Your name, and we forbade him, because he followed not with us" "Forbid him not, for there is no man who does a miracle in my name that can soon afterward speak evil of Me", And also: "Forbid him not, for he who is not against us is for us". In short, God has chosen his way of operation long ago. He will use everyone He can, and sort out the details later.

Jesus remarked, when questioned if His healing was from God:
"Satan cannot cast out satan, for his kingdom will not stand"
We should have this in mind. When someone gets healed, satan cannot be the one who healed them. What a terrible thing to suggest, that healing can come from satan, don't we know to make a difference between the Spirit's fruits and demonic fruits? Vehemently saying things like these is sure to invoke condemnation. These people think they know the Spirit but they don't, and when they finally die and meet Him for real whose presence so repulsed them on earth, what do you think happens?

Also Jesus said:
"When therefore ye who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more the Father in Heaven will give good things to those who ask Him?"
So we don't ask for a fish, and get a snake. We don't ask for bread, to get a stone. We don't sincerely pray to God to help us only to get a demonic "not of God" response, because it's not how this works, Jesus said it's not how it works, and people who still doubt need to re-read their Bibles. God always hears. Always helps. It's only that His help doesn't always come in the form and on time schedule we imagined. But sometimes it does, though!

But the OP didn't even specify anything about any church, or pastor, or their beliefs or legitimacy. They simply stated that poor people come to church and pray for healing for hours and they have many breakthroughs through faith and prayer. Why would our reflex be to doubt that, or believe that these desperate people come and ask for a fish and Father gives them a snake?

Satan cannot heal or cast out demons. Jesus made that very plain. I am genuinely concerned for anyone who believes the opposite.

Yup. When someone asks for healing in the name of Jesus, and they get healed, there's no good purpose trying to say Satan did it.

Thank God he still heals! And there's power in the name of Jesus!
