At this moment other than to say this, I am at a loss for words or the ability to truly absorb how this could be a true story. But it is.

October 11th, 2020 Christian Post

Church of Sts Peter and Paul, Pearl River, Louisiana.

The Archbishop of New Orleans has expressed anger over a Catholic priest’s alleged sex act with two women atop his church’s altar while filming it. The act was “demonic,” says the archbishop, who consecrated a new altar on Saturday.
“His desecration of the altar in church was demonic. I am infuriated by his actions,” Archbishop Gregory Aymond said in a video statement, referring to Fr. Travis Clark, the 37-year-old pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul in Pearl River who was later removed.

“When the details became clear, we had the altar removed and burned,” Aymond added.

Clark and the two women, identified as 41-year-old Mindy Dixon, and 23-year-old Melissa Cheng, were arrested on Sept. 30, according to Catholic News Agency, which said Dixon is a pornographic performer and “dominatrix.”
Dixon had announced on her social media that she was going to New Orleans to “defile a house of God” alongside another “dominatrix,” according to The New Orleans Advocate, which also reported that “the women were dressed in corsets and high-heeled boots.”

“There were sex toys and stage lighting. And a mobile phone as well as a separate camera were mounted on tripods, recording it all,” added the report.

The accused have been charged with obscenity because the sex act was visible from a window. A complaint was filed after a witness videotaped the act from the window and reported it to the Pearl River police.
“His behavior was obscene. The desecration of this church and the altar is demonic … demonic,” Aymond said from the pulpit when he came to consecrate a new altar on Saturday. “There is no excuse for what took place here. It is sinful, and it is totally unacceptable. Travis has been unfaithful to his vocation, he has violated his commitment to celibacy and also he was using that which was holy to do demonic things.”

You cannot expect unsaved people to act any less sinful. We cannot expect unsaved to act like believers.

Men's hearts are dark and evil continually in the sight of God.

Sinners sin, I think that is a given. However, if we're saying those who are Catholic are not saved because they are Catholic then I disagree.

The catholic church teaches a corrupt gospel. Those who rely on their catholic doctrine to save them are lost because it is not genuine.

Except Catholics don't think their doctrine saves them. They believe in Jesus Christ as their savior.

Read 1 John and you won't disagree; God clearly tells us who is and who is not born of God.
All who are born of God, with Holy Spirit indwelling, cannot persist in sin.
The catholic religion is an apostate religion that is completely man-u-factured and riddled with sin; from lies like purgatory and confessionals and penance (man made rituals) and praying to dead people; it is false and wicked and goes against God's eternal Word.
It is God who says they are not saved, not the above poster - it is a false apostate religion and it is offensive to God. Read 1 John.
There is a huge difference between following Jesus and being catholic: black and white.
Follow Jesus ONLY; Holy Bible ONLY.

Jesus only saves those who are born of God. catholics disregard Jesus for their man-u-factured ways, hence, they are not born of God. They do not know Jesus, they do not obey the Holy Bible. To be saved Holy Spirit must indwell, and Holy Spirit does not indwell unrepentant, apostates who follow men and not God. They have a false Jesus just like islam, mormans and Jehovah witnesses.

Read 1 John.

Whoever says “I know Him” but does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 1 John 2:4

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. John 3:36

And being made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, Heb 5:9

...when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels 8in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, 10when He comes on that day to be glorified in His saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed. 1 Thes 1

If they believed Jesus, they would have nothing to do with catholicism.

The Catholic church teaches salvation by works. - http://www.justforcatholics.org/a14.htm
My anvi-Vi won't let that page open. However, going by what you said alone, the RCC has never taught such a doctrine. I looked up that site on a search engine.
just for catholics.org The Q&A's on this page have been adapted from my correspondence over the years with many Catholics and Christians
Perhaps if he's insisting Catholics believe in works salvation he's not really being truthful about speaking to Catholics.

https://www.catholic.com/qa/why-does-the-church-teach-that-works-can-obtain-salvation
Question:
Why does the Roman Catholic Church teach the doctrine of "works righteousness," that through good works one can earn salvation?
Answer:
The Catholic Church has never taught such a doctrine and, in fact, has constantly condemned the notion that men can earn or merit salvation. Catholic soteriology (salvation theology) is rooted in apostolic Tradition and Scripture and says that it is only by God’s grace–completely unmerited by works–that one is saved.
The Church teaches that it’s God’s grace from beginning to end which justifies, sanctifies, and saves us. As Paul explains in Philippians 2:13, “God is the one, who, for his good purpose, works in you both to desire and to work.”
Notice that Paul’s words presuppose that the faithful Christian is not just desiring to be righteous, but is actively working toward it. This is the second half of the justification equation, and Protestants either miss or ignore it.

I will disagree. It is the height of hubris to insist over a billion people are deluded and damned.
Perhaps the opinion against Catholics is the log in ones eye that need be of concern.

well, I know for sure now, that in my many, many, past, deluded days/ways,
that I was not ever damned, even though I was once an enemy of God...
1JOHN 5:20.
And we know that The Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding,
that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ.
This is The True God, and Eternal Life.
ROMANS 5:10.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more,
being reconciled, we shall be saved=(rescued-delivered) by His Life.
HEB. 9:14.
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through The Eternal Spirit offered Himself
without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve The Living God?

Nothing new under the sun. Phinehas and Baalpeor comes to mind. This is literally what was happening in plain sight, at the temple, when Phinehas decided to throw the javelin, if you've ever wondered why such an intense reaction.

Twenty years? Well, when a Catholic site tells me what Catholics believe and I know Catholics, you'll understand when I don't believe you.

As long as he's not married, it's a minor offense I suppose (obviously, I'm measuring it by the correct Christian standard, not the false Catholic standard). Just don't do that while married. And, don't do that intentionally. Always do your best to resist the temptation and marry first instead.

For the women, as long as they didn't touch each other, it's a minor offense too I suppose if they are not married. I didn't read the news or watch the video to protect myself from Satan's influence, so I don't know what transpired, and prefer to keep it that way. May God bless them with repentance and a holy matrimony before any future sex acts.

To be honest though, I think it's fake news!

Are you in the right thread as pertains the OP and your comments? As long as he's married?
Also, if you are in the right thread why not call the church and ask them if this happened or is fake news.

So does the catholic church preach that Jesus paid the penalty for our sins on the cross? Or not?
