Ezekiel Chapters 47-48 Is the (Eternal) New Heaven, Earth, Jerusalem, Where The River And Tree Of Life Are Present, Also Seen In Revelation 22:1-5 Below

Same River, Same Eternal Fruit On The Tree, Same Leaves For Healing- Medicine

The Eternal River And Tree Of Life, In The Eternal Kingdom.

Ezekiel 47:12KJV
12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

The Eternal River And Tree Of Life, In The Eternal Kingdom.

Revelation 22:1-5KJV
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Glad to see you didn't deny Ezekiel 47:12 & Revelation 22:1-5 is exactly the same place (The Eternal Kingdom) with the River and Tree of Life present (y)

This has been celebrated with a feast for thousands of years, the feast days called Feast of Tabernacles or Sukkot.

It is celebrated by making a new place to dwell in, in the backyard.

Although you brought quite a good argument, your thread looks about to go to sleep. This happens when either you have brought a watertight argument, or the posters are simply battle-weary. Here is an attempt to put some life into it.

Could you explain why, on the New Earth there is no sea, and yet Ezekiel 47 speaks at length about the sea, even the "great sea" which most take to mean the Mediterranean in prophecy. In Ezekiel 47:15 it is a border of Israel.

Simple, (Sea) represents masses of people.

The beast will rise out of the masses of people in Rev 13:1

There was no more masses of people in Revelation 21:1, narrow is the gate and way to Eternal life (Few) find it.

Revelation 21:1KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Revelation 13:1KJV
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Isaiah 10:22KJV
22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

Whenever I read the words, "Don't be deceived!" outside of Scripture, they act like a big red flashing light...

warning me against the message containing them.

It's like having a stranger say, "Trust me". Um, no.

I still don't get it. You say in your title and OP that Ezekiel 47-48 is the eternal state. You show the similarities to Revelation 21 and 22. In Ezekeil 47 the sea is a major factor, whether in parable - as you take it, or literally, as I take it. But it is expressly absent in Revelation 21. The only answer is that Revelation 21 and 22 are not a fulfillment of Ezekiel 47-48. There are just too many differences.

But it was worth the discussion because many Christians never consider the conditions on earth during the Messianic Age. In the back of their heads is that all-pervading thought that Christians will be in heaven and the rest (which must include Israel because they did not believe) are in hell. The earth is no more (although they cannot explain how they are in heaven when the heavens have passed too). And besides all these major anomalies, it hasn't dawned on them that taking New Jerusalem literally creates massive absurdities.

New Jerusalem is a "Mother", it is a City, it is a Wife, it is a Tabernacle, it has, as its Tabernacle, God, it is in heaven but comes down to earth, its walls are made of Christ and the Christains, but also of precious stones, its gates are Tribes of Israel, but also Pearls, and some members of the Nations can get through them, and so on. Making it literal makes a huge confusion. But if we take these attributes and trace them in the rest of the Bible, a beautiful and descriptive picture of God's consummating His plans comes into focus. Christ's Wife, now without spot or blemish is shown. But at the same time the Wife is Christ's co-ruler in fulfillment of "let THEM have dominion" in Genesis Chapter 1. But the Wife is also a "companion up to the standard of " (Lit. Gk. of "help meet"). But she has the glory of God in fulfillment of "image and likeness".

But a City is for ruling (Rev.22:5). And then comes Israel, always separate from the Church, but doing their service to God by vetting the Nations who would have audience with God. And then the City is cube-form, the shape of the Holy of Holies, and thus it fulfills the Tabernacle and Temples made by hands. And then its measurements explain something and yet they are defined by "the measure of an angel" - men in resurrection - which fulfills Jacob's Ladder. And so it goes on to be the most comprehensive definition, explanation and fulfillment of God's eternal council for the EARTH.

Is all of this found in Ezekiel? No. What is found in Ezekiel is the most in depth prophecy of Israel in the Millennium. In the opening Chapters, God is about to desert Israel for their iniquities have overflowed. Their Temple is vacated and will be razed by Nebuchadnezzar. Their Land will lie fallow for her Sabbaths. 97% of those carried off to Babylon will never return. The Covenant made with Moses is thoroughly broken. That made with Abraham will be in tatters. The situation for Israel looks dramatic. Is it the end of them. Is this how God's People end??? That ... is the burning question in any of the prophets, but pointedly so in Ezekiel. And so Ezekiel poses a question that all men will ask. WAS GOD NOT ABLE TO GET HIS PEOPLE AND HIS HOUSE ON EARTH? They will ask, IS GOD UNABLE TO GIVE ISRAEL THEIR LAND AS AN "EVERLASTING POSSESSION"? IS JEHOVAH REALLY ALL-MIGHTY, OR HAS EVIL TRIUMPHED?

The answer to these justified questions is in the closing Chapters of Ezekiel! GOD WILL HAVE HIS PEOPLE! GOD WILL HAVE HIS PEOPLE OCCUPY THEIR LAND. GOD WILL HAVE A HOUSE FOR EMANUEL. GOD WILL DWELL ON EARTH SURROUND BY SERVANTS OF A HOLY NATURE. The borders are given. And the river is that of Zechariah 14:8, not Revelation 22:1-2. The Law will be fulfilled because it is attached to a New Covenant - one written inside the Jew. Israel will be forgiven because the Lamb does a work INDEPENDENT of men. God has the judicial right to apply mercy to who He wants for the Lamb deals with "the sin of the world" and "the sins of the world" (Jn.1:29, 1st Jn.2:2). Israel will be sorely chastised. Their testimony will be gone and they will dwell in foreign lands. But God's councils are immutable. His oath to Abraham is more fixed that a thousand universes. God will chastise with a heavy hand, but He will restore because of un-quenched love.

Ezekiel tells it all.

Same River, Same Eternal Fruit On The Tree, Same Leaves For Healing- Medicine

The Eternal River And Tree Of Life, In The Eternal Kingdom.

The Eternal River And Tree Of Life, In The Eternal Kingdom.

Revelation 22:1-5KJV
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Once again you disregard the fact that (Sea) represented in Rev 21:1 is multitudes of people, there was no more (Sea) multitudes of people.

The book of Revelation interprets itself, the beast didnt rise out of the literal ocean (Sea) in Revelation 13:1 below, like the creature from the black lagoon, smiles, he rose out of the multitudes of people.

As Revelation 17:15 explains (Clearly) below (Waters) represent people, multitudes, yes these waters represent (Sea) as seen in Revelation 21:1, there was no more (Sea) multitudes of people.

Revelation 17:15KJV
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Simple, (Sea) represents multitudes of people.

The beast will rise out of the multitudes of people in Rev 13:1

Revelation 21:1KJV

Revelation 13:1KJV
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Isaiah 10:22KJV
22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

Instead of ad hominem, why don't yall explain Ezekiel's temple.
It most certainly is not an earthly temple built by humans. With a river issuing out of it.
Third temple theory falls flat when examining this passage.

It appears many have a (Pre-Determined) bias, in trying to create a false Millennial Kingdom on this existing earth, using Ezekiel Chapter 47-48 as a proof text? :)

If they acknowledge the River & Tree of life are seen in both accounts of Scripture below, their Millennial Kingdom on this earth is (Gone)

Is the (Eternal Tree & River) of life seen both in Ezekiel 47:12 & Revelation 22:1-2, (100% Yes) to deny this is to deny the simple, plain, clear, truth of scripture before your eyes.

OK. You are entitled to your belief. But you never address my counter arguments. I'm happy to leave off now. We've had a good exchange, and maybe somebody has learned something. Thanks, and God bless.

I'm glad to be of assistance to you and your learning, Ezekiel 47:12 & Revelation 22:1-2 are exactly the same place (The Eternal Kingdom) all events in the old testament that are claimed to be a Millennial Kingdom on this earth, are in fact the (Eternal Kingdom)

(The Eternal Kingdom)

Example: Isaiah 11, Isaiah 65, Zechariah 14, Ezekiel 47-48

There will be no future Millennial Kingdom upon this earth, a false teaching of man.

Jesus Christ Is Lord!

Revelation 22:1-5KJV

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

It is useless for us to try to decide just what method the Lord will use to create a new heaven and new earth. We can only use our reason, and that reason uses what it has learned and experienced. We have not experienced a new heaven and new earth, and as we try to make what we know fit, it just doesn't fit.

Before Christ lived his years on this earth and fulfilled all that was told of Him in the Old Testament, scholars tried to put all the scripture about Him together and they came up with a description, they thought, of Christ. They were wrong. They needed to humbly know a Messiah would come and to humbly let the Lord explain it to them when it happened.. That is what we need to do about the new heaven and new earth.

The Lord Jesus Is going to return in fire and Final judgement, dissolving this existing earth by fire, as the New Heaven, Earth, Jerusalem are revealed.

Jesus Christ isnt going to return as a humble Messiah to this earth as you suggest.

I agree, but I did not suggest Jesus will return as a humble Messiah.

So, as one glad to assist, and to teach other men, can you write us all few paragraphs on the following scripture. Revelation 20:4-6.

4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."

Please include - for our learning;
  • Why you deny such a thousand years.
  • Why you deny that men were beheaded for the witness of Jesus but "lived again"
  • Why you deny that men will refuse the Mark of the Beast, be beheaded, live gain but not reign a thousand years
  • Why you deny the thousand years although it is mentioned SIX times in five verses
  • Why the thousand years can be called, by the God of all truth, "THE" thousand years when there is no thousand year period?
  • How long the Lord's Kingdom in Daniel 2:44 is
  • Why the Lord's Kingdom of Daniel 2:44 will be an everlasting Kingdom that will fill the EARTH, but not last at least a thousand years
  • Why, in Revelation 11:15, "... The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever", this will not come to pass
  • Why, in Revelation 2:26-27, Christians will not be given this reward; "And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father."

The Lord Jesus Is going to return in fire and Final judgement, dissolving this existing earth by fire, as the New Heaven, Earth, Jerusalem are revealed.

Jesus Christ isnt going to return as a humble Messiah to this earth as you suggest.
As an outsider to this exchange, I can only say our brother/sister blik did NOT suggest that Christ will return as a humble Messiah. Perhaps English is not your mother tongue and we can make allowance for this.

They needed to humbly know a Messiah would come and to humbly let the Lord explain it to them when it happened.. That is what we need to do about the new heaven and new earth.
Sry for the misunderstanding Blik,

Above It talks about a previous literal Messiah humbly coming to the Jews on earth (Jesus)?

It states we need to wait upon the same regarding the new heaven earth?
