Thought policing and "trigger words" in Christian community

And rightly so.

It is a grave error to confuse and confound the Church (redeemed Jews and Gentiles in one Body from Pentecost to the Rapture) and Israel (the redeemed and restored nation of Israel consisting of twelve tribes living in greater Israel).

Replacement Theology does great damage to all the biblical prophecies pertaining to Israel in the future, AFTER the Second Coming of Christ.

God has only one covenant people, scattered Israel who broke the old covenant, is the adopted, regathered Church / Israel of God's new covenant by the blood sacrifice of God's son Jesus Christ / Yeshua ha'Maschiach, who came to gather ALL God's children into one.


John 11 (ESV)

51 He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, 52 and not for the nation only, but also to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.

After the future restoration of the land of Israel (as prophesied in Ezekiel 37-48), God's covenant people returns in future as prophesied to their covenant land, when they keep God's new covenant of God's law written on their minds and hearts. God's covenant people, regathered Israel that was scattered among all the nations of the earth, are the Church of the Jew, our King Yeshua ha'Maschiach / Jesus the Messiah.

Everything here on this earth, reach its completion at the second coming of Jesus Christ / Yeshua ha'Mashiach. This earth cease to exist at His second coming, which is the start of His Millenia Kingdom, when Jesus' / Yeshua's preparation of the new heaven and earth will be completed, and the old will be destroyed.

Concerning the tribulation, God's elect will not fear, but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. The great tribulation will not be a tribulation at all, for those that are not from God's elect, as they will go on with their lives as they would have taken the mark of the beast. Pre-tribulation rapture is a false hope teaching not founded in scripture. The rapture is at the end of all ages, at the second coming of Yeshua ha'Mashiach / Jesus the Messiah, for his elect people, he will come down from heaven, the dead will be raised, and those that have died in Christ will together with those who are alive in Christ, meet Christ in the sky. Those that will be left behind at the rapture of Yeshua ha'Mashiach's / Jesus the Messiah's second coming, will be destroyed by the fire that will consume what is left of the earth.


Matthew 24 (ESV)

21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. 22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. 23 Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand. 26 So, if they say to you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out. 2 Thessalonians 2 (ESV)

8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.


After the great tribulation, this is when the true rapture happens, at the return of Yeshua ha'Mashiach / Jesus the Messiah:

1 Thessalonians 4 (ESV)

15 For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

I believe the point that is being made is as pertains to tact.
One doesn't lead by a good example when defending their understanding of the word when they use hate filled attack words. Words that intend to offend, hurt, and shut down those opposed to that offenders beliefs.

We have an example in this thread as to how not to go about providing a righteous example of being in the word. There are plenty of people who read the word of God and then there are those who are in the word of God.

There was a thread before and it's long past now so as not to recall its title however, what entered that discussion was how to deal with the verbally abusive and/or the dark minded.We do know there are non-Christians who pose as Christians just for fun and to demean Christians.
One such method was to have fun with it. Because the verbally abusive, the dark minded, the slanderers, the liars who reword a Christian's post in order to attack that Christian, are in this world. Why not have a laugh rather than feel upset at their efforts, which feeds them and encourages them to continue.

If you care to read such people just add, "...in bed" to their remarks.

Curious, where in the scriptures of the old testament are we informed God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because their sin was homosexuality?

So here is a question. If they never act on their temptation are they ... or are they just tempted by that sin?
