The Holy Spirit through Paul said that enemies of the Cross are declared in Philippians 3:18-19 to have their end in destruction.

23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Our daily Christian duty is to be found in Christ, not having our own Righteousness (self-righteousness/self-sufficiency) Phil 3:9, Gal. 2:21. i

This can only be done by our Faith in Christ and the Cross (Rom. 8:2). This is what is meant by taking up our cross daily which allows the Holy Spirit to carry out His sanctification work in us. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them. Eph. 2:10, 2 Cor. 4:10-12, Phil. 2:13

Why would the Holy Spirit tell the Apostle Paul to write such a thing as this?

Why do most Christian after salvation reject keeping their faith and trust in Christ and the Cross?

I said it - because Jesus said it - and that settles it! Read the Book of Revelations, chapters 2 and 3. See Matthew 7:14.

The Apostle Paul said in the last days those who call themselves Christians will have a form of Godliness, but denying the power thereof (The Cross): from SUCH TURN AWAY!!!!!!! 2 Tim 3:5

If you leave the Cross or reject the Cross by not placing your Faith in it - you enter death!

He did say there were such people but to say most Christians is simply inaccurate. True there are fake ones among the church and plenty of them but for it to be most Christians you would have to admit that there are very few people who are actually saved and you would also have to be able to somehow know the number of believers in the world and know what is in their hearts otherwise you are just making a presumptuous statement

That is what I had issue with your post it is not our place to decide how many are saved or not and in fact should not even be on our minds to begin with love does not judge or condemn especially their brothers and sisters and I say judge and condemn because that is exactly what one does when they decide that most believers are in fact not saved when only God has that authority to make such a decision

If you deny or will not place your Faith and maintain it exclusively in Christ and Cross, you remove yourself from Christ and enter the Law of sin and death (this is called spiritual adultery - Rom. 7:1-4). Matthew 7:14, Gal. 1:6, Gal. 2:21

You make assumptions that because someone brings correction on the manner in which you conduct yourself, they don’t believe the word of God. It is a very very bad thing. You brought your understanding of the bible
And you should have the respect and self control to leave the seed there and be patience and humble and let others bring theirs. God brings the harvest and the Spirit convicts. Not man. I won’t respond further but I hope you will respect what I and others have to say. It is done in love and with a desire to help.
