As many are aware that this 2020 election is one of the most important our nation has faced. It has forced many to review the history of the candidates and parties since the news has a habit of not telling the truth or part truths.
More stronger than ever I've had a issue on my heart for sometime and invite your views and comments.
What I would like to bring to the table is to push for a law of censorship concerning the recognized evangelical faith.
As a sitting president takes his seat he elect what he deems is a reconised christian perspective.
I believe that it is in the hands of the christian community to say what is christian and what is not.
For example the Obama administration chose christian science as a christian perspective. We all know that christian science has no affiliation with God and the holy scripture.
But because of its christian title it was viewed as such.

John said we would be known by our love and service to the Lord and one another.
Jesus said they will be known by there fruits.

We all know there are doctrinal issues we all have with the different denominations and that can not be a platform.
But the issues of salvation by grace should be intact.
I believe we have a right under the constitution and amendments to choose what is christian and what is not since it represents a large number of people in this nation. By standing with the evangelical community do we lose our private citizens rights? Just one of the many questions to be answered.
Thoughts, views, and comments, much appreciated. But more importantly prayer, prayer, prayer.

When a person weighs in as a Christian upholding any brand of politics it is a departure from the platform which is our Salvation, that platform the Word., the Gospel.

To ask one who loves Jesus-Yeshua to support any political candidate in the presidential race is asking to choose between the two evils, the lesser of them.

To vote on either is being duped into the enemy-s game drawing away from the Gospel

The US constitution guarantees the freedom of religion, which, though disappointing includes the right to be a non-believer, even an atheist.

In all good faith and with a good conscience in the sight of our Father, getting involved with any kind of politics is a wicked endeavor, and I plea all who love the King and eagerly await the Kingdom to remain faithful to the Monarchy,. All blessings..
All who believe know things are only going to be worse no matter who is the Herod or Caesar of this period of progress to the end.

Much in disagreement here bro. We are to occupy untill Christ returns.
As a U.S. citizen I am blessed with religious freedom up held by the constitution.
This land was founded on christian beleifs. My point is how can a secular government say what is christian and what is not.
I believe that the view to be called christian should be based by christians and not by name only.
In other words to be deemed as christian it should hold the same values and standards as found in scripture.
Just because they use the term christian does not make it so and there fore they would have to drop the term christian from there logo.
The example I gave dealing with christian science belief
T a good example of the mis-use of the logo.
Much to many myths that people believe Christianity is not protected under the U.S constitution.
We are faith based not religious based . Though it may imply as such when issues arise in religious freedom it can be found that a faith based people are not recognized under religious freedom.
God calls his people to repent for a nation not the unbelievers but his people.
By allowing a sin practice to become law without attempting to warn of God's righteousness and judgement that may persue we are held accountable for not being the watchmen we are called to be.

There are so many issues to discuss here....I just can't believe the response thus far.

The bottom line of my thinking and belief in this arena is simple, if we find ouselves forced to choose the lesser of evils for our vote, we are then playing the game given us by the enemy, Satan. I respect your thinking and belief in that arena but cannot adhere to it. All blessings in Jesus-Yeshua.

I feel sorry for anyone who lives a faith that tells them voting is evil and not of God. :(

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are not of God. Not voting gives them a better chance of taking the victory over Trump. Therefore, those who don't vote are responsible for Godless people getting into office if that is the case.
Joe Biden and Harris are pro-abortion! Later term abortion and post birth abortion too. Vote to stop them from gaining office for the sake of the babies at least.

America is a Democratic Constitutional Representative Republic. We the people elect those in power over us. It is a civic duty. And it certainly isn't against God.
Submission to the Authorities
Romans 13:1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. 7 Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

God isn't against voting!

Deuteronomy 1:12 But how can I alone bear up under the burden of your hardship and strife? 13 Select wise and practical[an] men, those known among your tribes, whom I may appoint as your leaders.” 14 You replied to me that what I had said to you was good. 15 So I chose[ao] as your tribal leaders wise and well-known men, placing them over you as administrators of groups of thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens, and also as other tribal officials. 16 I furthermore admonished your judges at that time that they[ap] should pay attention to issues among your fellow citizens[aq] and judge fairly,[ar] whether between one person and a native Israelite[as] or a resident foreigner.[at] 17 They[au] must not discriminate in judgment, but hear the lowly[av] and the great alike. Nor should they be intimidated by human beings, for judgment belongs to God. If the matter being adjudicated is too difficult for them, they should bring it before me for a hearing.

People can label whatever they want as Christian but the bible says what is Christian not man, and it is a right not by man or the constitution but by God we have the right to know speak and teach the truth.
Poliyics in general is a huge mess I am neither republican or democrat I see who is the best choice and hope they win but in the end it is in God's hands. I hope biden doesn't win but even if he does I trust God knows what he is doing

And that is precisely my point. To wear the logos or lable of a Christian jesus asked "did you count the cost?
There are many brothers and sisters out there today as well as in the past that have given there all for the gospel.
The belief in God is not christian, belief in a God is not christian, belief in the son of God is christian. Christ crucified is the message.
We have allowed Christianity to be confused and intermingled with other religions.
As Christ is exclusive to the church and his followers are exclusive to him so must we come out from among them.
We have been given a very important task in fact the most important of all. To point to the way, the truth, the life.
I heard a brother put it this way,.... our mission is to prepare others to meet there maker God.

That is a very good point, believing in God and believing in a god is not Christian only believing in the testimony of Jesus Christ which is the gospel, people were never called Christians until Jesus died and rose again.
In fact if I may go even further even all these denominations and separate sections and branches withing Christianity isn't Christian only the testimony of Jesus Christ.

although personally if a believer in Christ wants to vote I have no isee with that as long as it is spirit lead, I am not voting never have probably never will the way I see it God's will is always going to be done he is in control not man

Believe it or not blain it is your christian duty to vote. We are to occupy , set the example, seek God's righteousness, and as a watchmen to do that which is good.
If a watchmen sees trouble coming and does nothing what good is he? This my friend is biblical. Blood is on his hands.

To ask one who loves Jesus-Yeshua to support any political candidate in the presidential race is asking to choose between the two evils, the lesser of them.

All who believe know things are only going to be worse no matter who is the Herod or Caesar of this period of progress to the end.
Everyone of us must live under the authority of the government. As the novel Tolstoy wrote, War and Peace, points out, even dictatorships are the results of the beliefs of the majority of the people under them. There are books telling of what brought on Hitler in Germany.

We are asked to choose what is best, even if it is the best of two evils.
It is not right to just throw up our hands and not work toward justice because we know about the ways the world will be as we near its end.
