Right to freedom, how noble an ideal.
The point however seems to be confused.
The right has become dearer than the freedom,
private desires and common interests fused.
In the name of freedom we glorify our right
to redefine all that long has been defined.
To the law of nature and to that of God
we have become ignorant and blind.
Freedom of choice is a mighty stipend,
but the choice presented is of great concern.
To keep or terminate a gift unripened
no woman should ever need discern.
Treating problems has been highjacked
by a clever thief who only aims to heal.
Changing body is no longer out of reach
at insistence of one’s own fallen will.
As I sit here by the fire
and contemplate on whose ideals are to win,
I wonder what we are truly after.
Do we see no wolf hiding under sheepskin?
