Peter’s Sermon. Acts 2:17

And it will come to pass on the last days, says God, that i will pour out my Spirit
on all flesh, your sons and daughters shall prophesy. Your young me. Shal see
visions, your old men shall dream dreams. I will pour out my Spirit in those days. ( end quote

Many worry about the last days, do not be afraid, just surrender yourself to God.
when we read scripture, we should bring it into our hearts. If we just read it as
a line in a novel, we will forever be in the flesh. We will only be reading about
God, which is okay, in the beginning but when we bring it into our hearts we will
not only be reading about God we will eventually know Him intimately.

That is for our daily life.
As for Peters sermon we never need to fear. God says He will make our flesh, spirit,
and raise us up with Him.

No blood bought, born again child of the Living God should worry about the end times. After all, we have the Book to read. IF we read it, we see that WE WIN!

any believer that has a spirit of fear needs to repent of that spirit, turn to God and receive His Spirit! There is NOTHING to fear for the children of God concerning end times!

Weeeeelll....anyone who has children might beg to differ. I personally worry about the time coming where I may not be able to feed my children unless I get the Mark. Or the possibility that my children may be taken away just because I am a Christ follower.

And as we all know, Christ is "not a tame lion". He is fearful and powerful and we are told to fear Him. The day of his return will be wonderful, yes, but also a fearful thing to behold.

Hebrews 4:1 "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it."

Psalm 2: 11 "Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling."

1 Peter 2:17 "Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king."

The "fear" in those Scriptures are not the "fear" humans suffer from due to their worries about things/people being a danger to them.

These Scriptures speaking of "fear" of God are speaking of "respect" of God. As well, they speak of "fearing" God because of His ultimate power. Fear the one who can destroy both body and spirit...... but it says to NOT fear the one who can only destroy the body. Fearing God is not the same as fearing that one can not feed or cloth their family. Trusting in God is how we should address that issue. And, there are many, many places that provide assistance for such as that.

Huge difference there

Really? Because the verses I listed very clearly mean "fear" in the Strongs (phobeo--Greek and yirah--Hebrew), not respect.

It means first to respect our Father and of course to fear Him for He is All Mighty. Perfect love drives out the latter.

You do right to fear GOD because HE IS ALMIGHTY but to fear that HE won’t be there for your children shows distrust of GOD who IS ALMIGHTY.
