At this point, i cannot tell really what the consequences in our country would be.. but since school was allowed to start w/ options to go online or use modules which families collect and submit weekly, i think education continues somehow, and not at a standstill. Surely there is a big expectation for parents to double time efforts, but i also hear neighbors helping each other. We have some young churchmates newly graduated who help tutor children in their neighborhood, which we hope every big and little effort and volunteer work go a long way, esp amidst other recent calamities in the country.

Rather than complain about the Political aspects of all this, the Church SHOULD be stepping up and STANDING IN THE GAP for our children and their educational needs. For the most part, i do not see that happening.
There are thousands of Churches across our Nation that have millions and millions of dollars and access to untold materials that COULD be shared with Communities across our Nation to fulfill the quality education needs for our children. BUT! That would require individual Congregational Leaders willing to open up their coffers and share/work with other Congregational Leaders from other Churches/Denominations/Groups.
Goodness..................surely we DO NOT expect these people who profess to have dedicated their lives to serving God and not Mammon to do such a selfless thing do we? Nah............. They will just moan and groan and blame others

The 'churches" we have are not what the early church was. The "eklesia" is the body of believers, not an organization or building.
Manmade organizations have often interjected themselves over believers and taught we must go through them to please God and become right with Him, not true, our faith, salvation, and walk with Christ is between each of us and Him, we are not to forsake meeting together in His name of course but He paid it ALL on the cross.

Believers who genuinely love God have been raised in these churches and have been short changed in their Christian experience.
Every gift Jesus manifested is available to every believer, it's the same gift, the gift of Holy Spirit just as Jesus received from John the Baptist and then imparted to the 12, who in turn imparted to the 70 and on and on, just as many, though a remnant, are receiving today and going on to the greater works Jesus spoke of.
