I have close friends who live in Clearwater. What a small world. I hear Tennessee is nice. I think if I were ever to go there and live it would be Nashville because I'd want to help out with feeding the homeless with Sanctuary International. Sounds like you've been busy! Hope all goes smoothly with the transition. ☺
Thank you for your kind encouraging words. I have been to Nashville many times and once saw a John Denver concert in the Ryman Auditorium. Good seats, about 50 ft away. He sang all of his songs. Thank God I'm a country boy. At least for the near future.

I work in the fast food industry but I’m only half of a people person. Sometimes it gets so tiring having to talk with people all day. But then at other times my brain sort of wanders while I’m working in the sense that I can be talking to the customers just fine but be thinking about something completely unrelated at the same time. Sometimes it causes me to lose focus, but my brain has kinda adapted to the multitasking😂
I am a bit of an introvert and I enjoy social conversation but do find it draining at times. I guess that I'm half a people person too. I too prefer to remain focused at the task at hand.

I confess that it is difficult to tell whether you are hearing from the Lord or whether it is your own thoughts. It gets so confusing at times.

Oh thankyou Up. No I have been asking the Lord certain questions about my circumstances and sometimes you may get an answer but it is so soft not "in your face" that it makes you question "Is this you Lord answering".

I have found this to be true for myself as well. Lately, after saying my morning prayers I just relax my mind, try to be still, and know the Lord. Often, this provides clarity on how to proceed for the day and to plan for tomorrow. I try to trust the Father each day to provide my daily bread which also includes spiritual sustenance. Seems to be working.

I do believe that is a profound question to ask the Lord. It says in the first chapter of Isaiah "Come now, and let us reason together...".

Yes sometimes it is hard to understand His communication back to us. Sometimes I say Lord can you say it loudly as I can be a bit hard of hearing lol

I do believe also that you are very much a spiritual daughter and a humble servant of the Lord.

"The sound of your footsteps, telling me that you're near. Your soft, gentle motion babe, brings out a need in me that no one can hear.."
From "Midnight Confessions" by Grass Roots

A forum for the one secret confession that you do not want revealed
but are brave enough to admit for all to see.

My name is tourist and I have a serious nicotine addiction. I once told God that I wanted quit smoking. He did not answer my prayer as He knew that I was lying to him. Perhaps when I am serious he will deliver me from this self-imposed affliction, and other things as well that do not belong in my life.[/QUOTE I gave up nicotine after years of addiction I just focused on the positives of being in good health also I watched my father suffer for years from Berger's disease. You just have to say my health is more important than my addiction. The lord will give you authority over your addiction.
