Thanks for your welcome, @Shandy. If I make friends quickly, that will be a first! But there's something special about connecting with people on the forums :)

Thanks for your kind words, BBG. We all have our stories, and one of the privileges we have is to search them out and discover them!
It has been a blessing to be back on the forums interacting with the likes of all of you. It has put me back in touch with a part of me I haven't had access to in a long time. There's something about writing to fellow believers that draws out the testimonies, the faith and the encouragement, isn't there? At least I find that :)
And, absolutely, looking forward to the conversation too.
The Lord bless you and meet with you this coming year in a profound and unexpected way.
Thank you very much, that is most kind.
And Yes, being able to communicate in any way is such a Blessing. The Sharing of Our Faith in God and his Son Jesus Christ draws out such Blessing for those that hear it. There have literally been time when I have been speaking to other about Godly things that the other person is like that is so true...and as I hear the words fall off of my lips I am thinking st the same time "that is so true". For it is God using me to share his Love and Guidance through me for them and myself, the best feeling one can have is to be used by the one and true living God for his Good and Glory!

Absolutely, I can second that! It is the wisdom of God that we cannot do this on our own, but it is in the Body that we encounter the fullness of the Spirit and the fullness of Christ! "Where TWO or more are gathered" He mysteriously manifests and speaks through us. It is a blessing and a privilege when He appears through and as a result of our conversation.

The Old king James version reads in Philippians 3:20 that "our CONVERSATION in in Heaven." My Pastor always says that "whatever you dwell on, you dwell in". When we keep our mind and conversation stayed on Christ, the very Kingdom of God draws near! It has become my pursuit and what I live for... that CHRIST would be glorified and made manifest in every aspect of our lives...

@BlessedByGod, may I ask, do you suffer from insonmia, or are you just out of your time-zone? It may be 9.30am over here, but experience with some of my friends in the States says it should be past midnight by you guys over there!! :D (what can I say, I'm the observant type that pays attention to detail and have noticed the times of your posts :) )

You may🙂.
(I'm an observant person to, so I admire that trait 😀).
I am a bit of what we call a night owl (meaning a night person). Work in the day and / or take care of things needing done. I find it easier to type long reaponse during my eve (it is just passed 11:30 pm my time currently). Even if I get up early, still usually up late (unless the eyelids are just to heavy to stay open).
Well done on the observation skills, very good Blessing (as they all are) to have🤠!

Right, that makes sense! Most of my friends come from Central America, in which case, it would be about 1:45 there! That would mean you must be California/Oregon side of the States (forgive me, I'm not familiar with all the geographical terminologies!) In Zimbabwe its easy, we're small enough to be in just one time-zone! And don't worry, I think "night owl" is a universal term!! :)

Yes, the West Coast. And oh ok. I wasn't sure if it was used just over here or not (night owl that is).
What does this day hold for you that you know of (work, adventure, talking with night owls 😄...)?

IF ONLY it involved going to church! :(
But here we go with another month of lockdown!! :(

The short answer is some DIY with Dad - an unusual way to spend my Sunday :)

Hi there, so this is me reaching out. When I was a young teenager, friends were difficult to come by -- and when I say friends, I mean like-minded people. I found a little haven on a forum that is now extinct, but it has always held such precious memories that 15 years later, I'm giving in to the urge to try again!

I'm not quite sure how much to share about myself. Growing up in Africa - Zimbabwe to be exact - life has never been easy. I think I like it that way though, because it is the hardship presses you in to God. It sifts your motivations, your faith, what is really important, and what really is not. You learn to be content in whatever situation you find yourself in, but more than anything, you learn to TRUST GOD for your daily existence. It's been an adventure!

Nothing about my life has been normal, but that is because from a very young age, I decided to put my life in His Hands and see what He can do with it. At 31 years of age, my story is certainly not complete yet, but then, whose is? All I know is that as I keep walking with Him - often in the wilderness - He will lead me to where I am meant to go. We walk by FAITH and not by SIGHT. So here I am, and hoping to find some like-minded fellowship and get to know some of you :)
Hi, thanks for sharing :)

May God be with you in your journey with Christ.

Blessings ✝️
