Verse 13-

Luke 4:1-14
1 Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry. 3 The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.” 4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.’” 5 The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6 And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. 7 If you worship me, it will all be yours.” 8 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’” 9 The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down from here. 10 For it is written: “ ‘He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; 11 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’ ” 12 Jesus answered, “It is said: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 13 When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time. 14 Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside.
If Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit then perhaps that is a good thing to be filled with.

He had just received Holt Spirit by the baptism of John, He later imparted to the 12, they to the 70, unto today when those who are Spirit filled impart to others.
we are all supposed to be spirit filled and born again, and walking in the manifestation of Holy Spirit power and authority.

oops, another typo, "Holy" not "Holt"
Another point here was how at the Baptism of John, the Creator said of Jesus, "of whom I am well pleased".
Indicating that Jesus had done nothing in ministry yet the very way He had lived His life was pleasing to the Father.

How do yo do that "here" trick Magenta?
I use the link icon, which is in between the T! (font size) and mountain (insert image) icons. It looks like a chain link ;)

I also select the font color before inserting the link. Otherwise, it defaults to blue :D (I prefer magenta :giggle:)

To make the link go to a specific post in a thread, first click on the post number.

Then copy the url, and paste it into the link box.

Otherwise, it will just go to the thread page, and the other has to search for the relevant post :)

You are welcome, dear Ms Ruby :) It is handy for giving links to outside sources as well :)

It is much more aesthetically pleasing than giving the full long link in text form ;):giggle:(y):geek:

AND, you get to choose what you want the link text to say ;)(y):D:)

Sometimes I will say, "source" if it is to an outside site.

Or just "link" and then (<- click here) following
that, so people know it is a clickable link.

You can make the link text any color you want, though that
must be selected before inserting the link into the text box app.

Or, as I said, it simply defaults to blue :)

wow I never figured out how to make my words coloured all the time. I wonder if anyone would mind if I wrote in green or blue or book antiqua all the time.
