John 14:3
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."

via Kevin Stewart

Could this mean physical bodies made of sin are not compatible? Jesus can obviously freely swap between types of environments.
Do you believe the material creation is evil?

We wouldn't be physical if Adam and Even didn't eat from the tree.

Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
(1 Corinthians 6:18)

sin isn't physical, and physical reality isn't sin.

Gnostics claimed that the material world is evil and life's mission is to transcend and escape evil matter. The spiritual realm is good and where God intends to be our home.
Plato considered the body to be something to transcend and shed like a dirty suit.
Gnostics believe who we think of as God made matter and is not God but a liar. and guess who is the good guy that created a good creation that is spiritual.
I've been taught some theology developed by satanists that teaches the same reversal of evil and good.
@pittsburghjoe , what do you make of that? What you are pushing seems a modern version using novel science as a sort of sign. Just sayin'.

That banthapoo that the conscience was the result of our experience at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is satanic theology. It leads to the same lies .

If we become one with God ..and God is light ..does that mean something?
Explain how a physical person could be one-with-God. I think our heavenly bodies are something different than what you are expecting.
God died for us to more than forgive us ..He did it so we could become one with Him when this is over.
God didn't want us in this physical reality ..there is death here. Physicality is not going to be involved in becoming one with God.
God's Grace for infinity isn't going involve this cesspool.

death entered the world through sin.
God created Adam a physical thing, put spirit in him, and he became a living soul. God calls that good, but you call it evil.
Adam, a physical-reality being with a non-physical component, was created without sin in him. there was no death in him until he transgressed. God made man upright; God made man in physical reality. there was no sin in physical reality; no death in physical reality, until Genesis 3. Genesis 1 & 2 are describing the creation of physical time & reality, and God calls them very good -- you call them evil.

is it a good position to be in when you call evil what God calls good?
no.
no, it is not a good position to be in.

Explain how a physical person could be one-with-God.
Jesus of Nazareth, God manifest in the flesh. 'the hypostatic union'
the Last Adam. in Him is no sin, and no transgression.

Physicality is not going to be involved
Christ was bodily resurrected.
He bodily ascended.
He will bodily return.
His tomb is empty. He didn't leave His physical body behind; He took it with Him, to heaven.
He ate a fish, proving that He, resurrected, is truly resurrected with physical flesh, not a mere spirit or ghost with no real body.

why do you not believe Him when He eats a fish? He even cooked some. for breakfast.
be believing, not unbelieving.

heretics should stop trying to teach heresy, before God Himself physically stops their physical mouths.

nah, cherries are delicious. i think this is more like crab-apple picking. or sour persimmons.
but it's not inaccurate, is it? you do believe the material creation is sin & completely evil. is that not so?

so calling that 'sour-persimmon-picking' is a bit like a pharisee taking exception to someone calling them out for saying Jesus cast out demons by Satan's power. the pharisee might say hey, i did say He cast out demons.

We have a soul and body today, but were we just a soul beforehand?

Mind–body dualism sounds like wave-particle duality to me. Would that mean we were quantum waves before sin?

Does sin have something to do with physical objects?
We are not like God- we had a beginning. Other than Adam and Eve, I believe it is when He “knit us together in our mother’s womb.” Sperm doesn’t have a soul, an egg doesn’t have a soul, but God made those two become one person. And mankind can never separate the dna of a father from the dna of a mother once a child (soul) is conceived.

Sin is not physical. It is a decision. Satan fell from heaven because he sinned, there is no physicality in heaven. This is why Jesus said if you hate your brother you are a murderer- whether you physically carry it out or not. He said the same for an adulterer. The bible says sin is knowing the good you ought to do but choosing not to do it.

No, our physical bodies wouldn't be dying, suffering from old age and disease if they had not eaten from the tree.

We would still be physical

Are the trees evil? Are the sun and stars evil? What about being physical makes you think it's evil? What part of this world do you think God created? What parts changed due to sin?

They are in superposition when unobsereved ..they can't be physical because their weight and energy would multiply from being in more than one place at a time.
Do you have scientific proof to support this hypothesis?

Why would it multiple?

Ever heard of the "Conservation of energy"?

The perception of Satan causes physicality. You don't need physical objects when you are waves in a wave reality.
We already transmit and receive waves from one another. Most people don't conciously understand it.

I want to state waves are physical to begin with. We can measure them.

We can measure heat emitted by our bodies. We can detect pheromones that send off and communication our feelings to this around us. We even react to these unseen things on a subconscious level.

When we pray, our souls become waves and speak with God and if we know how we hear Him answer.

Sometimes we get radio interference and the enemy seeks to fill our heads with lies.

It's important to read your bible and discern truth from lies, good from evil.

The statement I quoted is a lie.

We detect waves after they already completed their flight. Observing/Measuring a wave after it's done will not change what it was in flight.

You always do this and I always say Jesus is a special case. God can do whatever he wants. Swapping between environments isn't an issue for him.
