The tree of knowledge was the fine line between obedience and rebellion. With evil comes disorder. God is the God of order. We live in a state between order to disorder as the forces of Satan try to disrupt the ways of God. Even the things we create, eventually fall into disorder. Build a car and it will eventually rust and fall apart. Civilizations spark from disorder into the love of order. But overtime society grows apathetic to order and decay back into disorder. Our bodies fight to maintain the order of health while our age, genetic code, and the environment will eventually cause us to fall apart. One day soon, the order will be restored in fullness!

Thanks, I feel a little less stupid now. :p
I forget words all the time. It is like algebra. If you learn it but never use it, our brains store it in the miscellaneous section. Then eventually it gets dumped in the trash.

That's called Entropy, and it affects everything. I believe it is a result of the disobedience of Adam. However, we should always keep in mind that this will not last for ever, since will create New Heavens and a New Earth "wherein dwelleth righteousness". Before that however, there will be both the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation.

I believe the material realm is created entropic. Except man. Man's body is preserved from entropy by the Tree of Life. So man was meant to steward creation and by that means perfecting the powers of his soul and fulfilling his earthly life and attain eternal life.
When man sinned his body no longer obeyed his will but obeyed the law of death like the rest of creation.
Creation itself didn't change but it's relationship with man it's Steward did change. The powers of nature became hostile to man.
