My armor is rusty,
The castle is in ruins,
My horse is going lame and swaybacked...

But it's another day to go after and slay them dragons.

Has anyone else been experiencing rolling black outs/power outages? We lost power for 1 hour at our home yesterday morning and at the Post Office for almost an hour. Evergy has been implementing controlled, temporary emergency electricity reductions. While delivering mail yesterday I noticed multiple businesses without power and traffic lights at multiple intersections lost power and it caused a wreck right in front of my eyes at one particular intersection!

DON'T take her coffee!!!!
oh wait, Gandy won't touch it since it's "pancake coffee....... but GG might :unsure:.........
Note to self: Remember one of the first lessons learned in life: DO NOT take things that do not belong to you...... Rubies coffee belongs to Ruby..... therefore it is Rubies coffee so DO NOT touch it.

Where I live, it's been under -30 Celsius and windy for most of the past week. Right now it's just on -30 C, with a wind chill of -40.

That's not just cold, it's expletive cold.
usually when I see temps given in C I think "well, convert that into F and it isn't so bad........ that was not the case here.
-30C is equivilent to -22F which is still WAY TO COLD.

AKKKKK I'm all layered and bundled under my fave blankey and ya'll are making me cold just reading this.
Good morning all,

Gandy and zero having their morning donuts...

:LOL: looks like there WAS a third one in that box  me wonders if it was for Ruby?

due to all this GLOBAL WARMING we are having
*perplexed, GG asks: What part of the globe is warming?
 Antarctica?
You may have that selection clicked off on your profile options...

I tried that once after I first joined. Thought tbhe pages looked rather dull and boring.
Also, some siggies make me think, some make me laugh, some have taught me things while others just make me go

Oh - BTW - power back on middle of last night (down ~26 hours?) - water off now since mid-to-late afternoon...
okay, I sort of get the reasoning for rolling blackouts....... but WATER??????? Why shut off water? Or did it just get THAT cold that the pipes aren't working?

Tell ya'll what: With all the Covid and political :poop: going on in the world, topped off with unusual weather patterns and more and more earthquakes and "natural disasters" it's just pushing us closer and closer to His glorious return ;)

I know that no one cares and that I'm nobody but I have a bit of a frustration.
Some yahoo comes here spouting heresy (Jesus was waves no particles nonsense) and refuses to be corrected, continues unabated.
Another yahoo comes here demanding to be the teacher of all, while his house isn't in order, and his knowledge of scripture is dubious at best, continues trolling unabated.
Some dude makes an attempt to accountability partner with another person struggling with addiction gets banned, I guess because his words were not well selected.
Particles vs waves threads get approved.
While a thread that was started because orthodox believers teach the subject, and there are verses in the bible that support the subject but evangelicals don't teach or perhaps believe it. And the thread is rejected.

But hey it's your site so who care right?
People care and you are NOT a nobody. That Joe guy from Pittsburgh with his particle and waves stuff, my goodness, he defeats half his own arguments and spouts such nonsense, like saying A&E received free will after eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, as if they did not have free will before? And yet they chose before eating LOL. But he seems blind to his own contradictions and does not admit the foolishness of much of what he says when I point it out to him. I don't know who you are referring to who got banned? The breezy person, maybe? Yeah, if it was them, I don't get it. Sometimes it seems new people get cut sooner than if they had been around longer.

My power was turned off for a short time yesterday but not due to the weather. A workman came into my apartment to change out my electrical power box from fuses to some updated new fangled thing LOL. He was quite a pleasant young man and we chatted much of the time he was here. I was going to occupy myself on my phone while he worked but when the power was off, so was my modem LOL

That's horrible, Dan. I know they're having power outages in Texas. Not sure what state you're in. I think you mentioned somewhere north? Michigan maybe? Anyway, we used to have cold winters where I lived back east but we never had power outages. But the temps never really got below zero. Some people are saying it's because texas is 25% powered by windmills and they all froze, which is just crazy. At least with normal coal power you can just fix the broken power lines. I don't think there's anything they can do about the windmills except wait for warmer weather.

I think you would like pancake coffee. It is not sickly sweet and hasn't got that bitter strong coffee flavour that keeps you up all night. As for the third donut that is usually the one Zero and Gandy fight over. Who gets it is the one that manages to finish their other donut first. It can be a blood bath.....

Its probably because some people had huge pics in their sigs. I remember having to scroll down to get past some of them.
One (or more!) person(s) has like a whole page of Scripture quotes (or various links, etc) in their siggy.

A bit annoying having to scroll past it all the time LOL :giggle::unsure::geek::p:geek::unsure::giggle:

PS~ My siggy is still visible to me :D
