All that says is to seek a being called god. It sounds like if I seek him then I will never want for anything. So there are no poor Christians?
It isn't what it is saying, the person here speaking is Jesus Of Nazareth His Pre-Eminence who is the GOD HIMSELF. And HE is revealing that if they seek the kingdom of GOD and HIS rightousness, they will discover how to be born again so they cannot die anymore. And a person that cannot die, has no need for food, or drink, or clothing, because that kind of body has not the need for them.

Seeking the GOD is not something anyone can force you to do, its something that you choose to do because of your innate desire to know HIM. And the seeking is not only reading HIS WORD, but also seeking HIM in prayer, having burning desire to know who HE is, and loving HIS WORD.

All of creation is evidence of God. Consult Romans chapter one and read about it for yourself.

Is evidence necessary to prove that God is and a rewarder of those who seek Him? God is known by faith but He is evident in all of creation.

The atheist has been endeavoring to disprove God with no success for centuries. The only possible gain from such endeavor is to avoid accountability for ones actions but that in and of itself only proves that God exists.

Respectfully, can you answer my question?

Do you have need for food, or drink, or clothing, because that kind of body has not the need for them.

The body we have, the body we are born into this earth with, is the mortal body. That body is the fallen state of man. This is not the best of GOD. There is the body that is immortal, celestial, that cannot die, and it was coupled in the image and after the likeness of GOD. That body is the perfect state, the original body of Mankind before the fall.

In the fall, there is what happened to that body. The cell system of that body was altered, and it began a negative metamorphosis, changing from glory, to water, from water to wine, and from wine to blood. Blood is the sin nature, and mortality is the fallen state.

There are two great Prophets, Enoch and Elijah that lived forever, that never died at all, that put on the immortal body in life alive. And that is the race i am running now. I am running my race to put on that body and I am racing against aging, sickness and death.

as of right now, i still eat and drink, but in years to come i will not need it anymore, when I am launched into Jericho, and the walls of mortality have come down.

I am coding alot of this, so that you find the desire to seek. This is not written plainly.

How would I seek him? Why should I seek him?
Are you interested in him at all?

I wouldn't advise getting drawn into an exchange with Yahcubs 777.
The poster is quite new here and is proving to be very mixed up on a spiritual level. He/She is best ignored.

So all of you are right, and I am mixed up huh? Do you know that is what the people thought when they followed 450 prophets of baal, and Elijah proved they were wrong.

Just because alot of you here do not have revelation knowledge, doesn't mean you are right.

Are you able to discuss this without having 10 minutes in between each response?
Hi Timps...
This is a discussion forum where people respond on their own timetable. If you want live chat, you'll have to download the Chat app from the top of the home screen.

You'll get more thorough responses here than there. :)

How would anyone know who to "look" for since we weren't there at creation.
You acknowledge creation; that's a good start. Creation necessitates a creator. That's fairly straightforward logical evidence, which the alternative cannot sustain.

This is what’s wrong with Christianity. Everybody reads the same book comes up with completely different views. People are drawn to this because they want to belong to a group but I would never join because I care more about truth than fitting in.

It is because as it was written: false prophets shall arise saying I am christ, and shall decieve many.

The sad thing is these people do not even know they have been decieved.

You can choose to do what you will. All i will say is if you really want to know the truth, meditate, ponder in what i shared with you, and ask GOD in prayer to know the truth.

Have a good day.

Are you here to learn, to teach, or to criticize? If it's the second or third, I suggest you move on and find somewhere else to not belong. If it's the first, then I suggest you change your approach.

Actually, I came hear to have sensible discussion. Since there are so many ideas what is true I want to know how people can believe things with no evidence.

Most of the regulars here are Christians, not the deceived of the world. Those who come here to "enlighten the deceived" don't last long.

No, most of you are decieved. And the height of ignorance many of you display is a case of unbelief.

How do you now which group is deceived since Satan can deceive anyone?

Excellent!

People don't generally believe anything "with no evidence". However, the criteria for "convincing evidence" varies widely.

How about we start with the basics: What do you believe? From where did humans come? What is your standard for compelling evidence?

You answer your own question first. What makes you think that you aren't deceived, since you seem to be convinced that you aren't?

Thank you - now a sensible conversation. Since you are one that has the claim that God exists and is a rewarder of those who seek him, may I ask your evidence?

That's a burden-of-proof reversal. You are obviously familiar with the Bible; do you believe it is (ultimately) of human origin, or of some other origin?

I can't prove a being doesn't exist. The one making the claim has the burden of proof, right?
