When I made the decision to give my life to The Lord
I started seeing things, that I never saw before
I saw Jesus' arms, stretched in front of me
He told me He's been here, but I was too blind to see
I also heard His voice, whispering, I love you in my ears
He told me He's been telling me, but His voice I would not hear
I asked Him not to leave me, to forgive my selfish heart
He told me, My sweet child, we will never be apart
Then He held me in His arms and told me not to fear
I looked into His eyes and saw His loving tears
My life now has new meaning, I've returned from death to life
I will always be thankful, for the love of Jesus Christ
If you would like to hear Him and feel His loving arms
tell Him that you need Him, and to Him give all your heart
you will experience love like you never have before
the greatest love of all from the one that's most adored
Now you see things different, you see a whole new life
you see a life of hope, you see life, through Jesus' eyes

Heard a preacher quote this in a sermon:

"With a ho-heave-ho and a lusty yell,
they swung a beam and a side wall fell.

I asked the man, "Are these men skilled,
in the kind you'd hire if you had to build?

He just laughed and said, "No indeed!
Common labor is all I need.

I can easily tear down in a day or two,
what skilled men took a YEAR to do."

He was preaching about how effective the enemy is in spreading discord and confusion among the brethren, and on the importance of adhering to Biblically sound doctrine and manifesting the love of Christ to all, especially toward those who are seduced by false ideas. Really liked the message.

That is just it, the love of Christ is lacking amongst professed Christians. That is the main reason why there is so much discord. I posted something on the commandments of God and some were debating and even arguing. That is not what we are supposed to do. The children of God that have the true agape love of Christ will study God's word like the Bereans to see if what the other person is saying is true. They test it by the word of God and are kind and loving. But then again, not everyone that says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven. May the love of Christ dwell in our hearts, and may The Lord have mercy on us..... Blessings my brother.
