there is a fairly new appliance called an Instant pot that combines a slow cooker with pressure, thus raising the temperature you can cook at.

The big difference between the two in the battle of crockpot vs pressure cooker is a simple one. Pressure cookers cook food quickly while slow cookers cook food – wait for it – slowly.Nov 8, 2012

however, there are several on the market now that are ALL-In-One pots like INSTANTPOT (no Gandy, that's not INSTANT POT  as in the weeds.....it's a brand )
where it can do both pressure or slow cook depending on what setting you use.
above you see a traditonal pressure cooker
then a crockpot/slow cooker
and below is the all-in-one models
(some even include broil settings as well as air fryer settings)

"Crockpot" may be a brand name like "Hersey Bar", anyone may make a slow cooker, but only "Crock Pot" can name it a "crock pot". Appliance cooking. I have a George Foreman rotisserie that I really enjoy as well.

Instant Pot- don't they have that in Illinois? Where you drive through, or do you have to park and walk in to the dispensary? LOL?
Kind of glad to be separated by the Mississippi, although there is a lot of negative influence from Chicago in the surrounding areas.

Hey GG, on that healthy eating thread the poster mentioned we need to stay in "Ketosis", which made me wonder if "Potosi, Wisconsin" was close enough???
(A little Wisconsin humor)
