How can the Bible be authentic if the Name of God (YHWH) Yaweh is missing from the Bible
How does that follow ? We have to watch out for what is often called " holy namers ' . It usually comes from certain groups , even cults ,which put a spin on the ' name ' of God . They make a big deal about God's name ( or Jesus) and they tell others that they are the true followers because they know how to pronounce the name of God the most correct way. Take the Jehovah's_Witnesses, for example .There entire attack on christianity is based on the fact they claim to be the only group that correctly uses the name of God .' Jehovah ' . From this they have managed to dupe millions into accepting their ' translation ' to include all the times they think the name has been ' removed ' . This paves the way for them to change other parts of the bible .

The transliteration of Yod Hay Vav Hay i is not in the Word. That is to say, Yahwah, however the translation is: therefore it is not missing but many times forgotten.

When Moses asked our Maker Who he should say is sennding him to save Israel from the Egyptians, or, the Mitzrites, our Father said, :I Will Be What I will Be." Tell them I Am has sent you. In this sennse, I am uses the transitive form of the verb, To Be, which does not exist in Englishy.

And Jacob requested, "Please tell me your name." But he replied,
"Why do you ask my name?" Then he blessed Jacob there. Genesis 32:29

Why do you ask my name," said the angel of the LORD,
"since it is beyond comprehension?" Judges 13:18

God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say
to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”
Exodus 3:14

I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by
My name the LORD I did not make Myself known to them.
Exodus 3:14

How can the Bible be authentic if the Name of God (YHWH) Yaweh is missing from the Bible
If you look at the German translation in JaumeJ's post (kudos!), the name appears. Many translations including the English substitute YHWH with LORD (capitalised) to show a form of respect.

How can the Bible be authentic if the Name of God (YHWH) Yaweh is missing from the Bible
Hello and Welcome to CC...

I suggest that you prove your assertion (the Name of God is missing from the Bible) before we address your question. ;)

Why do you think the Name of God is missing?

How can the play Twelfth Night be authentic, when the name of its author is missing from it?

Jeremiah 8:8:

King James Bible
How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.

New King James Version
“How can you say, ‘We are wise, And the law of the LORD is with us’? Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.

American Standard Version
How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of Jehovah is with us? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes hath wrought falsely.

Brenton Septuagint Translation
How will ye say, We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us? In vain have the scribes used a false pen.

Douay-Rheims Bible
How do you say: We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us? Indeed the lying pen of the scribes hath wrought falsehood.

JPS Tanakh 1917
How do ye say: 'We are wise, And the Law of the LORD is with us'? Lo, certainly in vain hath wrought The vain pen of the scribes.

How can the Bible be authentic if the Name of God (YHWH) Yaweh is missing from the Bible
The name of God in context to me is descriptive until it is relational

Meaning man's name for God is seen by what HE did.

God the Creator
God the Father the first Cause uncaused.
Lord God the self-existent One
Lord God that heals
the Lord Who Provides
The Lord God who delivers

By His nature: Lord God all-powerful, the Lord God who knows all, Lord God the merciful, The God of Love unmerited

Father......
papa....
dada......
daddy....
dad........
pop.......

all names that are used to refer to a father.
different children use different names when refering to their father,
very young who are just begining to speak often mispronounce it.
Just food for thought ;)
