FAQ: What if Adam had first eaten some fruit from the tree of life prior to
trying the forbidden fruit?

A: The tree of life doesn't work like a vaccine, rather, it's a remedy
portrayed in the Bible as a treatment for whatever ails you. (Rev 22:2)

In other words; under normal circumstances Adam had no use for the tree of
life at first because he was already immortal. Adam was created impervious
to death; an advantage he lost by tampering with the forbidden fruit when
he was instructed not to.

• Gen 2:16-17 . . And the Lord God commanded the man: You are free to
eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.

Well; Adam didn't drop dead to the floor when he ate the forbidden fruit. In
point of fact he continued to live 800 more years beyond the birth of his son
Seth. (Gen 5:4)

So the death that Adam underwent due to tasting the forbidden fruit began
with his loss of immortality, i.e. Adam's body became infected with mortality
which, if left untreated, is 100% fatal. Mortality is a living death that
gradually broke Adam down to the point where his body could no longer
keep going.

The tree of life wouldn't prevent Adam from contracting mortality, but the
tree would've cured it and restored him to perfect health, but alas he wasn't
permitted to take advantage of it.

I am chiming in on this thread a little late, but would like to inject my understanding of what I think that the scriptures evidence.

I do not think the scriptures tells us exactly how many are going to hell, and to heaven, but they do affirm that those that will inhabit heaven will be counted as the sand in the seashore, and the stars in the sky, which are so many that they can not be counted..

I believe that the scriptures teach that the Kingdom of God is one of the names of the church that Christ set up when he was upon the earth, and has been reigning as King over his kingdom from that time until now.

I also believe the scriptures to teach, in Eze 10, about a wheel within a wheel, the larger outer wheel represents the invisible church, and the smaller wheel within, is representing the visible church.

The straight gate in Luke 13:24, and Matt 7:14 harmonize as representing the visible church, and the wide gate representing the invisible church that are preaching and teaching a false doctrine.

FAQ: Human sacrifices are not allowed in the covenant that Moses' people
agreed upon with God in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and
Deuteronomy. Since Jesus was a Jew whose religion was governed by that
covenant, then how was it legal for him to die for the sins of the world?

A: The laws of God are not retroactive (Deut 5:2-4, Rom 4:15, Rom 5:13)
This is extremely important because Jesus was designated, and scheduled,
to die on a cross prior to God creating even a single atom for the current

In the future, Heaven will cause the world to turn on itself in an apparent
attempt to self-destruct with weapons, disease, famine, and wild animals
that will cause fully 25% to perish; i.e. one fourth. (Rev 6:7)

If perchance the world's population in that day is the same as now, then
1,935,238,953 people will lose their lives before the calamity is over; in
other words: 1.93 billion. That's something like 848 times the number of

The grammatical tense of the words "have purified" is past rather than
future. In other words, the souls of the Christians to whom Peter penned his
epistle were already purified before it arrived.

The Greek word for "purify" generally refers to making something clean
and/or sanitized; usually by washing. It doesn't refer to sinless perfection;
for example your pots and pans and dishes may be dented, scratched, and
chipped, but they're still suitable for their intended purpose just so long as
they're clean.

Jesus once told his men "Now you are clean through the word which I have
spoken unto you" (John 15:3). His word didn't make them sinless. In other
words: they retained their various dents, scratches, and chips, so to speak;
in point of fact, Peter went on from there to deny even knowing Jesus.

A number of the Old Testament's rituals served to cleanse the people of
contamination brought on them by their sins, but did nothing to make the
people sinless; not even the great day of atonement Yom Kippur. The people
went right on sinning as before just as soon as the ritual was over. So
purification and sinless perfection are two very different spiritual conditions.

This is a very important element of Christianity so it's worth taking the time to
understand.

The Greek word translated "filthy language" is aischrologia (ahee-skhrol-og
ee'-ah) and means vile conversation.

Webster's defines "vile" as (1) morally despicable or abhorrent, (2)
physically repulsive; viz: foul and/or odious, (3) of little worth or account;
viz: common, vulgar, (4) tending to degrade, demean, and/or denigrate, (5)
disgustingly and/or utterly bad; viz: obnoxious, contemptible, unacceptable,
disagreeable, and (6) base; viz: crude, churlish, and/or unrefined.

It would be nice if visitors to Christian web sites made an effort to curb their
tongue if for no other reason than courtesy for our religion's beliefs and
practices, and our personal sensibilities.

• Rev 8:7 . . The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and

earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green
grass was burned up.

Although that event is depicted as something completed already, it's actually
yet future. The apostle John wrote of something he was shown; like
describing a movie.

The Greek word translated "grass" includes not only lawns and pastures, but
also crops; particularly cereals, i.e. those farmed primarily for their grain;
e.g. corn, wheat, oats, rye, and rice; et al.

Apparently their destruction isn't beyond recovery because grasses show up
again in a later calamity. (Rev 9:4)

The purpose seems to be the destruction of one whole year's worth of global
harvest. That could be very bad for 3rd world folk who live hand to mouth,
viz: those whose very survival depends upon regular yields.

The cost of grain will already be in a state of inflation prior to the global
destruction of the grasses (Rev 6:6). The calamity described in Rev 8:7 will
surely drive up the cost of food even higher; possibly to the point where
quite a few people around the world won't be able to get enough to eat as
often as they'd like.

One third of all trees are slated for destruction too; which no doubt will
affect not only those used for lumber, but also fruit trees, e.g. fig, orange,
apple, apricot, prune, peach, cherry, banana, and olives etc; along with a
number of varieties that produce nuts.

Righteousness and Justification are spoken of together in Rom 5:18 the
same as they are in Rom 3:21-24. So then, if perchance someone is
fortunate to obtain the righteousness, then they will automatically obtain the
justification that goes along with it.

FYI: Righteousness pertains to innocence, and Justification pertains to
acquittal.

For example: former US President Donald Trump was recently accused of
insurrection. His accusers in the Senate failed to convict him, i.e. the
majority voted for his innocence and consequently he was acquitted.

This is what God has done for some of us; except that He has declared us all
guilty rather than innocent (Rom 3:23). However; via our faith in Jesus'
blood as an adequate propitiation for our sins, God granted us a gratuitous
adjudication of innocence, and consequently an acquittal. It's all spelled out
in Rom 3:21-28.

The first prayer I prayed that made some sense contained the words below:

"God, I know I'm a sinner. I would like to take advantage of your son's
death"

My prayer wasn't much to brag about; but it was the smartest sixteen words
I'd ever spoken up to that time.

and majority are relative, and large and small are relative, as well as near
and far.

For example: according to the 2020 World Almanac and Book Of Facts, as of
July 2019 there was an estimated 2.5 billion people identified as Christians
among the 7.7 billion people on Earth at the time.

People identified as Christians represented approximately 32% of the world,
whereas people identified as non Christians represented approximately 68%.

According to the arithmetic: Christians were the minority, i.e. the few;
whereas non Christians were the majority, i.e. the many.

Most non-white people are non-christians and they are today dominating world population and have also high nativity rates. RCC is still, I guess, the largest religious body in the world, but Islam is catching up through birth rates and "conversions".

I was baptized an infant into Roman Catholicism and anon enrolled in
catechism classes where I went on to complete First Holy Communion and
Confirmation.

I was led to believe that my chances of going to Heaven were better than
ordinary people because I was a Catholic, but in point of fact, my chances
were worse.

Because God would be holding me responsible to comply with everything
Rome teaches and stands for: all the commandments, all the dogma, all the
rituals, all the traditions, all the Councils, all the Bulls, all the rites, all the
holy days of obligation, all the whole entire Catechism-- everything --and
that's why Catholics go to Hell just like everybody else because there's no
favoritism with God; and the rule of thumb is: the more somebody knows,
the more they are held accountable. (Luke 12:47-48)

Ironically, an illiterate aboriginal has a better chance of making to Heaven
than a Catholic; and the aboriginals that don't make it will be punished far
less severe than the Catholics that don't make it. As it turns out; my
affiliation with Rome wasn't something to be proud of; no, it was something
to keep me awake nights ridden with anxiety about my future.

Seems like it is more complicated to even attempt to calculate how many new arrivals in Hell. I believe that it is best to leave these calculations to God in regards to salvation or damnation or where the departed now reside.
