What a sweet weekend, spending time with grand wee ones. Also, I had a nice talk with my Mama that reminded me of wiser thoughts and things. At 53, still she blesses me. I thank my Lord for her. I realize how fleeting time is, and how, well...you know.

So much to be grateful for, feeling His strength, peace and joy. Looking forward to work, church, and time with family and friends. Also, I found a new hiking trail that I think I'll start doing it early in the mornings with my dogs. I think time in nature with my Lord, first thing, would be good for me and my mindset. Yup, all in all, feeling thankful. Most of all, my Lord, He amazes me more and more!!!

What is going on with you and yours, do you have a praise report?

Bless the Lord! It was a beautiful weekend, sunny and breezy. Spent a wonderful day with my family today. Also had an awesome chat with a pastor friend. We shared our testimonies and prayers for our kids. It was a phenomenal fellowship! And got a great praise report from a friend in the hospital who is recovering from pneumonia. God is so faithful, merciful, and kind! \:giggle:/

On Wednesday night my uncle had to go to the ER because they thought he had pneumonia... My aunt and cousins thought he was about to die because of how badly he was breathing. I prayed for him, and he stayed in the hospital overnight. In the morning the doctor said he had pneumonia, then the next morning he called again and just said he had a cold and they released him. He is doing better. During the whole ordeal with him in the hospital most of the family was in a panic preparing for the worst... And to top it off my moms car started acting weird, she was dreading having to take it to the mechanic because that could take all day. So pray again.... She takes it to the mechanic, they resolve the issue in about 10 or 15 minutes, and it didn't cost anything (even though she did tip the guy 20$ for his time).

And another one that happened a few months ago when i had to get a new "Real ID" drivers license upgrade or whatever they called it. I was dreading having to get it because they make you take one of those eye exam things where you have to read the letters on a board from a certain distance away. My eyes are light sensitive, so reading text or numbers indoors from a distance is somewhat of a challenge, but outside its no problem. Anyways the day before going to the DMV i pray. The day of im waiting for them to call me up for the test, meanwhile im seeing other people taking their vision exams, knowing full well if i have to take the ones they are taking im pretty much going to fail. Finally they call me to a part of the room i didn't even notice... The vision board is literally 5 or 6 feet closer and under a light so i can actually see the letters. I passed the test.. I didn't even care that i look like a weasel on my new license pic.(she should have gave me a warning or a heads-up or something before taking the pic but whatever), can't complain with the finished product. God came through yet again.

I have a lot of random praise reports or testimony, those are just a few recent ones that i can think of. The Lord is good all the time though.

First, you made me laugh @She could have given you the heads up. Seriously though, so glad you reach to Him when in times of need. Praise the Lord for healing your uncle and for being with you through the eye exam. He shows Himself in so many ways. Thank you for sharing your praise reports :)

I'm so thankful, for a blessed trip to LAX and back to pick up my son.
I used to dread it but I've been praying all wk, as it's an hour drive at night. I prayed for favor with having no traffic jams.
So I left and 'flew' there @80mph and got there just as he had checked out. We got back in 2-1/2 hrs instead of 4.
So I'm so glad I've learnt not to dread things but see them in a positive light and I had the most pleasant drive so far.
It pays to pray!

Also, to GOOWS, I had the same experience. For months I was worried about taking the driver's test bc of the eye exam. My eyes are just a little shaky. However, they have redone it and I could see the letters very well. I was floored to think of all the time I had spent worrying over that eye test, for nothing. No wonder the Word say 'Be anxious for nothing' perfect advise.

I praise God for keeping me out of the ditch. Literally.

I was driving home from church yesterday. We'd had a late snowstorm which dumped several inches of heavy wet snow. The wind was packing it in the driving lane, so I used the passing lane which was relatively clear. A truck was coming up fast behind me, so I decided to be gracious and get out of his way. I slowed a bit, figuring my car would plow the snow as it usually does. It did, but because of the resistance the car was pulled toward the ditch. I don't remember praying in that moment, but I did have the presence of mind to steer away from the ditch (opposite of what you do on ice!). A few seconds later, with much snow thrown around and much speed bled off, I was safely in the driving lane going the right direction, and the truck passed.

One of my friends was about to get laid off and he was hoping to transfer into a different position. He told me this the day before his interview so i prayed for him and told him to go to the interview with a mindset only to be of service and of use to them.
The next day he came back all excited telling me that he got picked out of 300 applicants for the job.
I actually screenshot his message.
