Something I've dealt with on and off since my teenage years. I bring it up cause I hope people can be understanding of me.
Some will, some won't. It's to be expected everywhere. But most won't even be aware as only a small portion will see this thread.

Welcome, my dear friend. Remember that, for those in Christ, these troubles are only temporary. Try to just walk by faith, brother Dave. All things are possible through Him that loves us.

Jesus has been gracious and merciful to all of us. He can give you a fresh new start if you let Him. He loves you and so do we.:)

Thank you. Meds and therapy aren't working like they used to. I used to be part of a young adults group at my church but have not seen any of them since the pandemic started, and by now honestly my status as "young adult" is debatable, haha.

My status as "crusty old oyster" is definitely not debatable.:giggle:
Soon the Lord will come and make everything ok. We can help each other get our bags packed and good to go!:):coffee:

I'm 36, and have not done many of the things I wanted to do in life.
I'm 53. I haven't either, but God knows what is best for us. As brothers in Christ, we must keep reminding one another that our best days are yet to come! PTL!:):coffee: Be of good cheer, my brother. He has very good things prepared for those who wait.

Psalms
37:1 [A Psalm] of David. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
37:2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; [so] shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass.
37:6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
37:10 For yet a little while, and the wicked [shall] not [be]: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it [shall] not [be].
37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Upon closer inspection, I am appalled and disgusted by the things being written on this forum. Thanks but no thanks.
