It's a three day weekend...with Easter being a part of that.

I miss dyeing eggs and Easter baskets and huge fluffy hats and new Easter dresses on all the ladies.

Now we have tofu eggs and kale sugar free candy nuggets and gluten free nonfat simulated dairy whip on organic strawberry shortcake during a covid quarantine waiting for my second shot of vaccine just to be told I'll need yet another booster for the UK variant.
*Sigh*

Sadly I need something more than that today lol... can’t get much Done with 2 crazy toddlers 😒
Try dyeing the hard boiled eggs. That will get them focused for a bit.

If that doesn't work, hide them and get them to look for them.

Multi colored fingers from dyeing eggs is a long standing tradition.

Interesting! Thank you for posting that for me, sis :)

Is there such a thing as too much purple?:giggle::geek::giggle:

My wardrobe is mostly multiple shades of purple, with a wee bit of dusty rose, fuchsia, and black...

In my living space, purple is used as an accent colour, such as pillows, throws, vases etc :D

Though I do also have one small wall in my living room painted lavender,
and my bedroom is also painted very subtle shades of purple. As a teen
I painted my second (and last) room-to-myself two shades of purple:
lavender and mauve, with the ceiling cut on a diagonal to contrast with
the wall where the ceiling joined the walls, and the door jambs and
window sill/frame the other colour from the walls they were on, also...
plus every stick of furniture in my room I painted mauve and lavender as well
It became known as "the purple room" after I moved away from home :giggle:

Do you have a fave color that dominates your wardrobe or living space?
Oh, I also like to buy kitchen utensils in pink and purples, and I have
durable plastic cutlery that is magenta colored, as well as purple plates :D

People often ask me if I have a purple car LOL

But alas! Purple is a rare color in automobiles :(;)
@Magenta ...
I think we would all like to see a house tour , I know I would :giggle:
Oh how I wish you would show us a video in slooooow motion , so we could see all your bits & bobs lol
...xox...

THE PRICK OF THE THORN

A thorn prick brought forth a drop of blood. Who could know that this
seemingly insignificant act would give birth to a Crimson river that
would run so deep, that it's cleansing power would be more than
sufficient to save every soul ever born? From first to last, throughout
the ages, from this day until the end of time. Still yet, that wasn't the
most miraculous part of the story. The most miraculous part is that
from that day until this, and for all the days yet to be, that Crimson River
has not decreased it's depth by one single drop!

The Resurrection surely deserves joyous proclamation! But let us not
forget that had it not been for the Sacrifice, there would be no salvation.
The Resurrection was His victory over death, thus proclaiming that we too
could have eternal life. Yet, it was the prick of the thorn upon His brow,
the wounds He suffered to His hands, His side and His feet, and the death
He willingly chose that paid the price for our sins, and allowed us to become
worthy to be called the Children of God.

Were it not for the Sacrifice, the Resurrection could not have come to pass.
Jesus said it Himself: "Greater love hath no man than that he would give his life
for his brother." And that is just what He did!

So sing joyously of the Resurrection and it's promise of eternal life, but, never, never forget the prick of the thorn.
For it was on Calvary's Cross where our Lord, the Son of Man paid the price!

My oldest isn’t a fan of “getting dirty” lol so but we did dye eggs... played around the house. Both my boys shared Bath time. Today was a huge success. Thank you lord for seeing us through this day! 🙏🏻❤️
