The truth of the matter is that some are holding fast to Gospel truth and Bible truth and others are presenting false gospels and false teachings. On every Christian forum, everyone needs to know how to separate the chaff from the wheat. Which means knowing the truth from Scripture before saying anything. As Jesus already told us the tares and the wheat would be growing side by side during the Church Age.

I have never said I know everything. There are very few threads that I respond to, unlike some who respond to ALL and CORRECT the false teaching with their EXPERT knowledge and understanding.
Does that sound like anyone you know?

As far as theological games, the sad part is that those I was referring to truly believe what they say.

I'm looking where the bible Says not infers . A lot of folks believe by inference.

The real problem is when some interpretation by inference clearly ignores other Scripture that states a truth clearly and is ignored or twisted to agree with their interpretation.

Of course, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the scriptures which indicates, even remotely, that babies ought to be water baptized.

Instead, one needs to make a conscientious determination to repent and believe before being water baptized, and infants are totally incapable of doing the same:

This is a good example of a need for Christians to study scripture for themselves. In order to wisely make up your mind about whether or not to baptize babies you need to have a thorough understanding of baptism and not just look for a scripture saying "you must/must not baptize babies". You also need to explore the reasons some people do baptize babies. Otherwise you are making an uninformed decision.

I think anything that is claimed to be necessary for salvation should have a verse which literally SAYS .

Its one thing to have not worked out some deeper aspects of the faith and another to have missed clear basic verses that plainly SAY .

That is not how God communicates with men. He did not give us a textbook of theology, If you are always looking for explicit statements about everything, you are already off the rails. As are many others.

The Lord is not going to base the salvation of man on a question of whether or not to baptize babies.
