So, are you of the Five Wise or Five Foolish Virgins in Matthew 25:1-13?

While I like your optimism, I would encourage you to read his responses again. He needs a one-way trip to Banville.
They are unable to lead me into their fresh, clean and cool waters of ETERNAL DAMNATIONISM, so they love their enemies by banning them.
LOL

Can't decide which forum is more demonic - ChristianityBoard, TalkJesus, BaptistBoard, ReligiousForums, or ReligiousForumSite.

I spend most my time at USMessageBoard. The Non-Christians are far more open and tolerant of intelligence.

BTW, when I said, "I tend to think it's more likely he's role-playing a part he perceives others here (on CC) to be," I was not referring to something like [he's] "playing devil's advocate"... in case you thought I meant that.

Matthew is the most Jewish centric book among the 3 synoptic gospels. There is a very good reason why that particular parable can only be found in Matthew. Clue is found in Matthew 15:24
However, this parable is not limited to Jews. It applies to the Church. And even Matthew speaks of the Church. Once you start slicing and dicing as to what applies to Jews and what to Gentiles, what you get is a mess.

Well, at least your not denying it's for the church, as the others here have.
As stated in the OP, no one wants to admit to being either or -
Shows the lower levels of demonic consciousness, the whorish death-cults of christianity are locked into.

No, I meant "your not denying", so as to expose those who would rather focus on non-essentials rather than the essence of the OP - as the Five Foolish Virgins are want to do.
are you enjoying the weather?

Oh, I thought one part of your "focus" was (as you put in your Post #21):

Post #21 - The Non-Christians are far more open and tolerant of intelligence.
hard-core universalist's like me
Little-known fact: my spiritual gift is sometimes "spell-checking" (or was that the "Superlatives" voted on back in high school, I forget. :D )

Anyway, I'm fondly remembering a poster who often spelled this same way... perhaps that was one of your several aliases you mentioned having in the past, here at CC? :geek:

[maybe you misspoke in your Post #21... and you really meant something ELSE... I guess that's a possibility too... we all do it, at times! = ) ]

No where says that those in the church age are 'virgins '
Yes. The misapplication of that one small 's' (referring to PLURAL virginS), not to mention its CONTEXT, has led to many false ideas, such as:

--"partial-rapture theory"

--"Millennial-exclusion theory [for any member of 'the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY']"

--"'lose-your-salvation' theory"

--men thinking they can "marry" numerous women at the same time

--and so many more...

I don't really like it when someone has to get banned. I'd rather have a discussion with them about their ideas and the way they understand stuff.
But when you come in here and just start basically calling names and understand things the way you do with out even explaining yourself, well you get banned.
The people who do that, I often wonder if they have studied at all, because they certainly aren't exemplifying the standard Jesus or Paul or Peter set.

Jesus did that himself in Matthew 15:24 and Matthew 10:5
