Better than a juicer is a commercial grade blender. A Juicer tosses out all the wonderful fiber that can keep you so healthy.

Sharing, I just blended a watermelon yesterday add a bit of water and and a splenda I couldn't find any sugar so I used splenda. Usually I won't add sugar but it's a little runny and it really needs sweetness... I love juicing, Breville juicer is good, but yes you loose all the pulp fibers, so instead I used nutribullet, it's great and very powerful stuff. 👍🏼 Now I'm waiting for mangoes to ripen and can't wait to blend it. Perfect for a summer weather! ☀️😎🔥

A juicer I have served me well , and I get all my fiber from eating bran , and other foods...
I am more healthier when I juice all my fruits and veg , being type 2 diabetic , it put my sugar levels back to normal...

I never thought you could throw watermelon in a blender. Now I'm wondering what it tastes like. How much sugar do you throw in? The kids love sweets, but I'm worried about too much. I will definitely try it when I can find a good watermelon.

No sugar , remember , white sugar is poison to our bodies...
Watermelon is fine on its own , if you need to sweet it up , add a small amount of Agave to it...

Also , you can freeze the melon and make ice pops for the children...

@Rosemaryx do you still juice or are you giving it a break. I have been lazy. We are heading into winter soon and the cold weather makes it even harder. I am thinking maybe next spring :sneaky:

@Rosemaryx are you still doing your juicing?
I have started again as we are nearing spring. I have been juicing the combination of carrot, bok choi, apple, celery and ginger. It is not a bad combination. The ginger really helps with the taste :D

Hi @Ruby123 ...
No I am not , that journey is over for me , I am now on Keto and I am not allowed any fruit no more , due to my diabetes , my body cannot work out the difference between natural sugar and sugar in food , so now I have cut right back and only have a small treat on Friday/Sat evening of a handful of Raspberries with some lovely full fat heavy cream...
My sugar glucose has gone down even further to the point I am now pre-Diabetic instead of full blown diabetic...
This is a very hard journey because almost everything has sugar in it , so I am on very low carbs as high carbs turn to sugar and spikes me terribly...

Ginger was something I added all the time to my juices , it is so delicious , and a great anti flam against infections...
I miss my juicing , but my eyes and limbs are more important :giggle:...
God bless you sister...

I am glad your sugar levels have come down. Following that diet would have been very hard. So what types of things can you eat then following that diet? I have heard of keto but I am not actually sure what it is.

Hi sister...
It is very low carb and high in good fats...
No grains , no rice , no pasta , no spuds , no bread , no processed foods...No veg grown under ground , no crackers , no cookies , no ice cream and no more man made foods that they tamper with...

But , I can eat lots of meat off the bone , grass fed butter , nut milks , salads , eggs , cheese , make my own bread , cakes using almond flower...My way of eating now is really delish because everything is made from scratch...I make my own sauces as shop bought is full of sugar , nearly everything bought in the shops is full of sugar , so I stay away from these things...

I have not only reduced the diabetes , but I have also lost a stone and half in weight...I follow a DR on YouTube who tells you the things that your own doctor leaves out , and a Christian man who does Keto , I follow him to...

I was told by my doctor that I would have this for life , yet it is reversable , but I must keep eating this way for always...
Many people are what is called insulin resistant and do not even know it...My allergies have gone , no more hives , no more breakout of skin infections due to the high glucose in my body...It is fascinating as I learn on this journey , did you know , cancer loves sugar , it feeds of it and helps it grow , just like every disease , they all love sugar , even down to having acne...

Sorry for writing all this , but am so passionate about it I want to tell everyone :giggle:

I hope you start another thread and post pics of what you ate. I loved reading that and so did others but I know there is a bit of work to it.
