I am not aware of ANY LAWS mandating mask wearing.
Thank you PennEd, always great to see you, do you mean the difference between laws and mandates?
I just got back from one of the most liberal ( as in commie/leftist) places in my state, little kids riding home from school with face diapers on.
Only the devil and his minions would impose such.

Yes. Mandates, dictatorial decrees, rules, etc.. ARE NOT LAWS.

In fact, many governors either broke, or continue to break THE LAW. They were given a limited number of days with “emergency powers”. After that time, they must get approval from the legislature.

They haven’t. Anywhere. That I’m aware of.

Post human, THEY are in fact the lawbreakers!!!

City and state temporary ordinances and POSTED SIGNS on the entrances to stores etc.
You seriously not aware of any of this?

When you ignore those signs you're the one being the jerk, not the people obeying the rules. Regardless of whether masks are effective or not, as Christians we should not be walking around acting like laws don't apply to us just because we don't like them.

My workplace requires them. Do you think I'd be a good ambassador for Christ by openly disobeying my boss?

You guys are not being Christians. You are being your own kings, doing whatever seems right in your own eyes.

Very typical of leftists. When they have been utterly defeated they’re natural default is simply to name call and attempt to demean.

YOU said those not wearing masks were lawbreakers. I pointed out that rules are not laws.

I eagerly await your apology.

This has been Mr Posts MO for yrs now.

Throw a political grenade. Step back. And when people respond to his grenade he tries to pull out the “you guys aren’t acting like Christians “ card!

With no recognition that he started the dang thing.

I was quoting you.

Yeah but the jerks that wear masks are incapable of seeing the truth.
Who is it typical of to accuse others of the evil they themselves are the ones doing?

Wrong again cadet.

My post was in response to another poster calling those who don’t wear masks jerks. I simply didn’t quote the poster.

IOW I am 100% correct; you are accusing me of evil for doing exactly the same thing you did.

Happen to know any scripture that comments on that? Hmm.

No. You think you can make your leftist political posts unanswered. Then when others answer, and defeat you, you pull the Your not Christian stuff. You been caught. I have seen you do it half a dozen times.

Nope. Just showing you are NOT going to throw bombs like calling others jerks who you differ with politically and get away with it.

I’m sorry Mr Post. I didn’t promote a peaceful exchange. By Friday, after a bunch of 4:00 AMs through the work week, I’m a little cranky.

He's a bit ticked off because he was led to believe that masking would
protect him from the bug.
Our friend's disappointment isn't due to faulty logic, rather, due to being
misled by faulty information; for example:

"Wear a mask, Save a life"

That wording is misleading. It ought to say you "could" save a life.

Quite a bit of the information out there about covid is written and spoken
like propaganda, i.e. it contains truth, but in some instances not the whole
truth. I can't say whether these half truths are deliberately meant to mislead
people, but nevertheless, intentional or not; it's causing people to go along
with some wrong ideas about this disease.

Scripture tells us of this very great end time deception we are living in, His own, as they stay in Him, will not be taken in by it, we are living it right now. The adversary wishes to instill fear, he is doing so with the face diapers, Jesus own who are stayed in Him know the worse that can happen is we end up where we are trying to get, and that true to His word, as He always is, no weapon formed against us will prosper.
Best wishes
Well, I am one of God's own children and I took the vaccine not through fear but because I need to be able to travel. I don't think I've been deceived and I don't think it affects my relationship with God one way or the other
