Hello. I don't know what to say about myself.. that would be of great interest to others.. been Christian "all my life." I have had experiences many others do not seem to have had... not sure I should talk about some of that bc probably won't be understood. I think a lot of people feel that way, at least @ times... but anyway... as said b4 in another thread, I (on some level) am still despondent, definitely DISTURBED about the "election results." I've been following that story as closely as possible, have been for months.. Anyway, nice to find a place where I am not shouted down at every turn with "HE WON FAIR AND SQUARE. Get over it." Sheez....

Welcome. I too have been "disturbed" about some of the recent events. I have to keep reminding myself that He is near and in control, but sometimes that is not easy. Peace to you Sister in Christ.

I totally hear you about not feeling He is very near... Of course, the devil rules the world (more/less) so it is he who wants us to feel alone, uncared for.. which i often feel because the world in general is not into Jesus, to say the least... so I am a stranger most of the time.. as they are to me.. (people in the world)

Thank you... that was a great little mental vacation, much needed (if you only knew the things I have to deal with... sigh) But I remember Jesus on the Cross.. He knows all about how this world ... abuses people...

But Jesus has conquered the world.. :)

I suppose there is some satisfaction in seeing that everything Trump warned about is happening already. at any rate the church is still here, we are on the winning side. welcome :)
