Once again, I haven't heard one thing on this forum or anywhere else that has changed my mind.

I tend to trust info I get from David Horowitz

If I find out he stretched the truth... well, there goes my trust. But so far, I'm good..

If what Chauvin had done had been illegal... The procedure has been explained. As long as the windpipe isn't impacted, there is normally no problem.

the only question in my mind is whether all those drugs in F's system may have made him more vulnerable to the knee thing... But still... how are cops supposed to know the full medical history of every person they apprehend AND/or the lethality of the drugs they have ingested?

yes, maybe they should assume the worst, health-wise/drug ingestion-wise... but I just can't help thinking about how...

Most legislatures are not going to make something legal that can cause death...

By giving him the benefit of the doubt that he had trouble breathing perhaps? If I'm incorrect, by all means correct me... but he had trouble breathing even BEFORE Chauvin kneeled on his neck. How much more difficult would it be for him to breathe is it when someone kneels on your neck?

Floyd was a career criminal, in jail something like 5 or 6 times

But worst of all:

He once burglarized a home where a young pregnant woman was forced to hand over what she had--while Floyd pointed a GUN (I thought liberals hated guns?) at

get this..

her womb!

It gets worse:

the woman is Black

so much for racial justice
This sounds racist.Should his past crimes decide whether Its ok to murder him?

Floyd was anything but a saint, but he did deserve his day in court.

What Chauvin did was totally unacceptable, and his sentence is just.

What bothers me is that the knee-on-the-neck move that Chauvin used that day is employed regularly by Israeli soldiers against Palestinian citizens, and nobody seems to care.

What's even more troubling is that the average professing "Christian" seemingly supports the same (because they're so brainwashed).

And so it goes...
For 9 minutes?Or long enough to handcuff them?

No, there's nothing racist about it. He was a career criminal. I don't believe it was the cops intent to murder him. I don't even know if I believe that's what killed him. But while that doesn't give the cop a reason to kill him, it does give people a reason to make a saint of him either, which is what is being done. Had he listened, gotten in the car, he'd have been alive today.

He's definitely not a saint....But he didn't deserve to die like that... PERIOD.

End of story folks. There's no justification for it.

No halfway decent person would do what those cops did.

One got what he deserved, but the other 3 need to serve some time for it, as well.

AND....

What's the point here?

This has nothing to do with what happened?

Anyone that can watch that video and even try to justify it....NEEDS TO CHECK their heart.

Because there is definitely something wrong....

Hint it has nothing to do with BLACK or WHITE or REP. or DEM.....It has to do with the LOVE of GOD!

I don't believe the cops intent was to murder him. Being a cop is more than a difficult job. Cops here it all the time, people screaming they are being hurt. I believe they become numb to it. First he said he was afraid to go into the back of the car. Well that wasn't his first time in a police car now was it? They knew something was wrong. He was on drugs. He starts to fight, he's a big man. They get him down and he's still screaming he can't breathe. Yeah, I can see how a cop can become numb to hearing that. I don't believe he was racist, I don't believe he intended to murder him. He made a deadly mistake and now he's going to pay for it. I'm not sure I believe jurors didn't make their decision out of pressure and if that's true then that's not justice. But time will tell.

Yeah, they knew something was wrong and the way they dealt with it was completely unreasonable and incompetent.

Cops do see a lot of issues. That does not give them the right to be so cold to totally throw out all respect for life, compassion, and logic, while kneeling on a man's neck and back for 9 minutes. That's not just incompetent that is criminal and one of the most cold hearted things any human being could do.

Anyone with common sense knows that they are not in danger... when they already have a man handcuffed laying prone on the ground (not resisting).

Like I said before, this is not a Black/White or Dem/Rep issue. Cops like Chauvin and all others need to be dealt with so that other bad cops will get the message.

this is irrelevant. you are also a sinner just like everyone else; does that mean it'd be OK to murder you?

think like a Christian, not like a republican.
right

well then do that yourself. constantly trying to belittle people who are not in your camp is not 'Christian' either

smh

Now he is "Saint Floyd" because he is black. He was seriously on Fentanyl and heroin when arrested, and according to expert testimony could have even overdosed on that day.
George Floyd's heart disease and use of fentanyl were contributing factors to his death, but they were not the direct cause, the medical examiner who performed his autopsy testified on Friday in the trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin.

It seems he was on the way to most likely killing himself 'accidentally' if his drug habits were not stopped

I don't know why people overlook this. The rate of black on black homicide and other terrible crimes seems to be ignored almost all the time. It's just the nasty white police. I don't find what Chauvin did to be without malice, but he did not know exactly what he was dealing with and the other 2 cops stood by like useless props.

I agree with everything you said except the bit about it not being about race or politics.

Police and race relations are front and center in politics even when the use of force is justified or self-defense is justified. Sometimes the media appeals less to facts and more to emotions stir people up.

For me it's hard to see that there is a sense of fair and balanced reporting when perceived injustices are reported with the same intensity and outrage as the real injustices.

Point this out at the risk of sounding callous and insensitive, but the bottom line is people are being manipulated.

I'm actually saying (probably didn't make myself clear) that it shouldn't be about race or politics.

The media and politicians are completely divisive. They're throwing race and politics into everything just to increase their ratings or get a vote. Totally deceptive....However, we as Christians shouldn't be so influenced in these areas.

The rate of black on black homicide and other terrible crimes seems to be ignored almost all the time.
That is because there is a very definite LEFTIST AGENDA to promote the hatred of whites and ignore the crime statistics of blacks. Now that Biden is in charge, you can commit murder if you are black, and you will be commended for it. Especially if the victim is a police officer.

And now that the Communists are in control, the DOJ is being used to deliberately target white conservatives and Trump supporters (of whatever color). The racist attacks on black conservative Tim Scott are clear proof.

Had Chauvin being exonerated, the DOJ was ready to step in and arrest him simply to appease the Leftists and the mobs of BLM and Antifa (who are literally being protected by the DOJ). Which means that the rule of law is history, and the Constitution means nothing. Anarchy is the only thing that matters.

As I have stated before, the only solution to this anarchy is a military coup against Biden and Harris (and their co-conspirators in Congress and the Senate). Where are the generals with some backbone who are prepared to honor their oaths of office and arrest these people?

I'm glad that I live in a red city of a red county of a red state. Policemen like Chauvin would have been fired long before this

Emotions run high and facts are not a part of some of the emotions here.

I don't care if you agree or do not agree with what I have said. what I do care about, are facts and not emotionalism. if you want to take a look at what the end result of emotionalism is, check out the riots last summer and they are not done yet

and kindly do not accuse me or anyone else of not caring about Floyd. everyone agrees that Chauvin made a bad error

however, Floyd was culpable and saying you don't care if he pointed a gun at a pregnant woman's belly and what has that got to do with anything, is ignorant IMO. You should care. He was like a loaded gun walking around and finally met an end that sadly we all agree could have been avoided.

Chauvin was in a position to abuse his power and it seems he did and he is paying for it.

one other thing. don't resist arrest. Floyd was so full of drugs he likely was not in a proper mental state either.

over and out
