Looking forward to meeting people to share how being a Christian changed their life in a positive way. I am 62 and went to a church that Baptized me immersed in water. A beautiful experience. Learning by following the Bible and sing acapella. Now I feel so much closer to God and His Son Jesus. I want to learn more how to spread the Gospel (Good News) to others without them feeling I am pushing them. Any ideas, please let me know.

You will have ample opportunity to meet Christians who have had their life changed by the grace of God. This site may be a good opportunity for you to spread the gospel. Glad to have you as part of our community. Welcome to CC.

Welcome Chais, Jesus dearly loves you and we are touched by your meeting with him.

Just some non-exhaustive food for thought below, in regards to your question 😊

"And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation."

Reach out to those in need of salvation - online, in person, by invitation, by exhortation, etc.

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

The Kingdom of God has much work to be done, yet few labour to do it. You could join those who are experienced - e.g. a ministry team, speak to evangelists, create a group, watch videos etc.

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven"

Be an example to everyone around you, glorifying God in all you do, everywhere - shops, work, at home etc.

But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.

Exactly that, keep Scripture in your heart, a testimony at hand, know Jesus :)

Here are some ways to go about it in the pandemic, but there's no shortage of ideas. Take your peace, if met with hostility and pray for others.

Maybe you could sing for them, like David to Saul and warm their troubled souls!

Welcome Chais!

It's great to see our fellowship grow, you will meet many great folks here. There is a "testimonies" tab near the bottom of forums list. Some great stories in there about what God has done for our members :)

Nice to meet you and so glad you are joining the fellowship here at CC! Re your question, sometimes I say 'Hi' and after awhile I'll say "Is there something I can pray with you about?' With the homeless, I usually carry some kind of ready to eat food and water and will offer it and simply ask if they know Jesus. But actually each individual is different so just see how you can work it into a conversation. God bless you and guide you!
